These bas---tards have been calling me for months.  I just called them back and left a message to take me off their calling list.  Let's see if it works.

I get call from this number 888-419-9409 seven times a day, morning noon and night no massage they just hang up

Get call from this number they just hand up who is this person

I told them Im on the Do Not Call List, but they just slide right by that and he will say "But to get you on the ATT Do Not Call List, I need your account number to get you on the ATT Do Not Call List so we wont be calling again"  I hung up.  They call at least 5 times a day. Ive ignored, Ive picked up and immediately hung up hard on them,  and Ive told them enough already !!  They are not listening!

Calls several times a day.  Thanks, Don, for letting me know who this is. (AT&T)   I never answer "unknown" calls -it just verifies that my number is a legitimate number for the tele-marketing companies.  

We need to pressure Congress to strongly enforce the DNC laws that exist and change the laws to include political (fat chance) and charity -  NO one should be allowed to harrass or invade our homes.   We KNOW where they are if we wish to donate or become involved.

The Do Not Call registry law does not apply to companies that you already do business with; so if you have AT&T service they are allowed to call you under the law.  You then have to register with that company's internal do not call list.

I get calls from toll free number 1-888-419-9409 nearly every day possible twice a day for months, I do not answer and it never leaves an answering machine message. Reports are this is AT&T U-verse telemarketer that has a "relationship" so it beats the Do Not Call system. They need to stop, now.

In the past 2 hours, I've received 5 calls from this number!

It's one thing to call once or twice a day, but not 5 times in 2 hours!!!

Totally annoying, and when I called the 877 number in the message, I got put on hold for 10 minutes before being cut off...

I Googled the AT & T Headquarters which is listed as the owner of that phone number.  It also gave the name and address of the CEO, President and Chairman.  Would you like to join me in sending him a letter about his irritating phone calls?

these people are driving me nuts!! call me everyday won't leave a message,just keeps calling!

Continuous calls from phone number 888-419-9409 which never identify or leave message but believe it is ATT U-verse telemarking. Nothing seems to stop or deter their auto-dialer as have an ATT wireline number so have a 'relationship' exempting them from No Call requirements.

This number has called my home twice a day for two weeks.  I don't answer the phone when they call and they leave no message.  It is really starting to become annoying.

It was AT&T wanting to let you know more about new services they are providing.  Call the number back and you can be leave a message to be put on the do not call list.  

By the way, this is a great website.  I've been getting alot of calls that do not leave messages.

It is AT&T U-Verse. If you call the number back, there is a recorded message and you may leave a message with your name and phone number to be put on their do not call list.

It is the "AT&T Family of Companies". After months of ignoring, I answered to have then remove me from their list. The electronic system is voice activated so you have to speak to get the system to announce their message. After about 30 seconds, the system announced "this call was from the AT&T Family of Companies and to find out more about this message call 800 ..." (which I missed. I will try to catch it the next round). I will not call them but I definitely want to report it. I get at least 3 to 4 of these calls per day starting at 8 AM

Called ATT customer service yesterday and asked to be removed from their DNC list after repeated daily calls from this #.  Was told I'd be placed on their DNC effective immediately but I just received another call today and so will be filing a complaint. Interestingly, when asked if I could have opted out of Uverse telemarketing via the ATT website, the answer was no.

This number calls evey day, never leave a message, I dont call back, I am so tired of it.

Another Saturday morning--before 9:30 am--call from 888.419.9409.  As other comments have indicated it is AT&T selling their unwanted Uverse services. I answered and asked to be removed from their calling list.  They are so automated they had no clue as to who they had called or what my phone was. When she asked me to provide the information I just hung up.

On my email I can blacklist numbers so they are automatically blocked.  I can also block specific numbers on my cell phone.  Can I also do this with on my land line?
