When calling back the person comes on the line and says something something and associates.  They ask if you have your case number...  I can't understand what they are saying almost sounds like "casey lawsuits" and associates...  Maybe someone will have better luck??

Yes. It was Franklin and Associates for sure. I called the first number back and the number is already disconnected. When I call the Franklin number back it rings forever then goes to a "full mailbox" so I can't leave a message. Not sure what the scam is, but it sounds weak.

Called, asked for other person in home, who wasnt here. Left message about some kind of "legal matter" and a "case file" and gave a case doc # and a number to call back. Said the words "summons to appear"...no CLUE what this is about.

Has to be a scam of some sort, now I have to watch my phone bill for odd stuff coming up. For the last two months or so I and the rest of my family have been getting phone calls from 405.134.5678, usually they are a hang up, sometimes someone is there and says something stupid and hangs up. I thought it was a kid or something until TODAY.

I received a call from "Liz" at Franklin Moss and Associates stating a case number etc and the number 888.434.2409 to call back. (She asked for a different person)
I called the person she asked for, told him what was going on and that I had found this site mentioning this phone number and business...he asked if the number they were calling from was the same as the one she left to call back to GREAT IDEA!
So I looked and NO, it isnt the same number, its the 405.134.5678 number that has been harassing us around the same time every other day! The calls were coming between 2-5 pm, even on saturdays.
Please if you have come to this site to find out what is going on, leave all the info you can about what happened so we can find who this scammer is and get em outa business before they take someone's money or worse.

Yeah I got a call from that number last night. Female called wanted to know when a good time to serve some legal documents was. I asked what it was in reference to and she wouldn't say, just wanted me to call back. She said she was from franklin moss. No doubt this is a scam of some kind.

I got a a call identified on my phone as being 713-134-5678.  The caller identified herself as Liz.  She leaves a message with the call back  phone number 888-434-2409.  Says it is from the Civil Procedures division of FRANKLIN MOSS & ASSOCIATES.   Gives me a case number.

Next morning I call and it rings many times.  When answered, I give the case number.  It takes her a long time to fine the file and ask for the number several time.  then she says, "Yes I have it."  Then she wants the first 4 digits of my social.  I ask why?  She says she wants to be sure I am the correct person.  I tell her no!  She says she can not discuss the matter with me  with out the numbers to open the file.  I then ask who is FRANKLIN MOSS & ASSOCIATES?   says they have 26 office all over the country.  I tell her I am not going to give her my social numbers she is requesting.

Then I hang up.  

When I try to fine FRANKLIN MOSS & ASSOCIATES on the Internet, I do not locake the company.  some how I get to this site.

My dad received a call from Franklin, Moss & Associates looking for me.  I have not even lived in that state for 6 years.  They told my dad that they had papers to serve on me for a civil matter and wouldn't give him any other information.  First of all, who CALLS to let you know BEFOREHAND that they are serving you papers???? They gave him a phone number (866-775-5413) to call along with a case number.  I called the number and some lady answered the phone with "Can I have your case number please".  After I gave it to her, I was placed on hold for a long time until she found who was handling my case.  She then transferred me to a man who was extremely condescending and rude.  He informed me that I had an outstanding debt for a credit card back in 2000 that I was being sued for.  When I asked him who the credit card was with, he told me two different names.  Then when I asked for some type of documentation as to what the charges were, he said he could not provide me with that and they would sue me in court.  I called the courthouse in the state in which they were supposedly going to serve me papers, and they have no record of any civil suits against me in the entire state.  I also contacted the Attorney General's office in that state, and although they did not have any specific complaints against Franklin, Moss & Associates, they said there were a lot of payroll scams going around.  Now mind you, the man who was telling me I was going to be sued stated that I was being sued for almost $4000, but that my original debt was only $600, and they were willing to settle as long as I gave him my routing and account number over the phone and agreed to pay a specified amount on a specified date.  When I did a search on this "law firm" or whatever they are...nothing comes up but posts like this.  I have also been receiving calls on my cell phone from 919-134-5678.  When I call the 866 number back that I first called, there is a recording that the person at that extension is not available and to leave a message....no identification of the company or anything. Avoid at all cost!

434-134-5678 called my husbands cell phone asking for me.  Like all the other calls they left a file number and the phone number 888-434-2409.  I called back and after speaking to someone I asked to speak to a supervisor.  I was put on hold and after about 2 minutes the call disconnected and I got a dial tone again. Sounds like a scam!

This is not the first call of this type of scam, actually its the third, and they all have the same format:
1.) The phone number on caller ID do not come up
2.) They threaten either to have someone deliver legal documents for civil suit or a officer of the law to come arrest you.
3.) They are all out of state, have multiple offices
4.) They are extremely abusive and threatening

Now when they call I let them think they are getting somewhere, get their info as much as possible and then I forward it to the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General of the state they are calling and post the information here.

It is bottom feeding vermin such as this that steal from innocent law abiding citizens that out of fear of not being compliant automatically comply to insure their good standing in the community.

I say that these people should be found, arrested, put in jail to enjoy the REAL fruits of their non labor activities.

I received this phone call today as well as all the other posts I have read about. The number I received was 913-134-5678. She stated that she was calling from Franklin Moss and Associates and If I was going to be available between 9 and 4 pm tomorrow because I was being served papers that I should not miss. I was at the store at the the time and could only ask a few questions, I ask what this was about and she stated that they are sealed and binded for my protection and that she had no information besides that it was a civil case and I ask what county this was in and she stated the correct county. She ask if I wanted my case number and I couldnt take it down as I was at the store so she called right back and left me the information to call back at 888-434-2409 with my case number. Obviously after reading this I am not calling. As soon as I got home I googled it and came to this site. I guess I will see if I receive anything tomorrow??

They have been calling me on my phone & have even called my sons phone saying the same thing as everyone on there has been saying. This sucks. The number that called was 702 134-5678 . Like one person saying who the hell tells you that you are being serverd.

I received a call from NAME NOT FOUND 816-134-5678 on the caller ID. They asked for my mother -in-law.  After telling them she wasn't available, they left the same 866-775-5413 for her to return the call.  For some reason I had a bad feeling about the call so I Googled Franklin Moss & Assoc. and I'm sure glad I did.  Thank you, Tracey!!!!!

If you try to talk to them it a scam they want you social scurity number and other info that can be used to steal your id I am sure this is an id scam

I just got a call no more than 10 minutes from ago from someone claiming to be from Franklin Moss  telling me they would be dropping off civil procedure documents and would I be home at 4pm. I asked them who they were for and they said for my ex-husband. I told them he does not live here. The number they were calling from was 703-134-5678. When I asked what this was about they told me the documents were sealed and bound for privacy. They asked me to get in touch with my ex and have him call them. The number they gave me was 866-775-5413. I did a Google search and saw this page. Glad to see this page is up and running to alert all of the scam.

I received a call today from Franklin, Moss and Associates who gave me a phone number of 866-775-5413 and a case number. But they were asking for my daughter who hasn't lived at home for 19 years. The caller ID was a different number 734-134-5678 and when I called this number back it was disconnected.  I called the 1st number back and they wanted the last 4 digits of my daughters SS number which I refused to give them. They refused to give me anymore information. After reading all of these posts it looks like they are changing the area codes on the 134 number. I spent 3 hrs on the internet looking for a valid company and there isn't anything but this web page. I am reporting this to the FBI so please let all of your freinds know what this scam is. and for you scammers shame on you , you contacted the wrong person. I will find you.

I just got the same kind of call on my cell phone using the local area code.  When they asked if I would be home to deliver some documents, I replied no, I will be at work.  I then asked where they intended to deliver these legal documents and they could not tell me and gave me a case number and a number to call which was 888-434-2409.  I will be reporting this to the local police and better business bureau and the attorney general in a few minutes.

I can echo what I'm reading here. My parents in Michigan got a call about an hour ago from Franklin Moss & Associates. I haven't lived there in 25 years, but they had a case number, said I was being sued in court tomorrow and freaked my parents out. I've since told my parents to watch their phone bills and not to answer any more calls from that number. I want the people from Franklin Moss & Associates jailed. With hardened criminals. And no guards.
