This number called my cell phone. It was sent anonymous.

I don't know the nature of the call. I have no debts with them. I have been a TV subscriber for about four years.

Called them back using *67 to block my name & number.  It was Shaw Cable.

got a call from this number 18884722222 - i could hear noise but couldn't understand who they were asking for or for what

i kept saying hello and i couldn't hear them - eventually the person got clearer and louder
she said she was from shaw and checking up on their customers (which i am - reluctantly), she knew my name or at least the name on the account

then the call disconnected - i guess it was for the best

Yeah it is shaw.  Tempted to dump them I hate telemarketing with a passion

They called me twice within a couple minutes, no one on the other end, tried calling back but it won't ring.

Who is calling me at my home with the above number?  
What does the caller want?

This is Shaw trying to sell phone services. Sorry, I have phone services with a provider who doesn't telemarket.

Call after call after call after call after call after call.......and the hurtful part is we are paying for this crap through our cable bills.  Shaw executives are 3 of the top 20 highest paid in Calgary. Something is wrong here.

Is there any way I can make them stop?! They have called non stop for the last month

Call every night between 6 and 7 PM. Obviously using an offshore call centre. I suppose I could call them and ask to stop calling me.....and remove my cable and internet service.  Bell doesn't do this and are a more responsible company to it's customers. Shaw just wants to squeeze harder and harder.

up to 3 times a day - very annoying

After finding out the caller was Shaw, I emailed them and told them to take me off their telemarketing list as I don't tolerate being harassed. They have called 3 times which is 3 times too many. Ironically my cell provider is Telus and they have said there is nothing they can do to stop unwanted callers (not just from Shaw) unless they are overwhelmed by complaints about one number. We are paying way too much for crappy service.

Shaw Cable again.

This number just called my cell while I was working I did not answer.

Came on here to see who it might be and if it's really Shaw then all I can say is WOW! I was a satisfied customer of theirs years ago and just moved back to their service area so called Shaw to hook up internet at my new place. This was two days ago, my appointment for installation is booked for tomorrow night.

So it would appear that before I even have any kind of active service the company is already calling to try selling me on what can only be the services I declined when they were offered upon my initial call to request internet.

Bad first step Shaw. If this keeps up I will be looking for a new provider in a big hurry.

Isn't it amazing that a cable provider can check to see if you are home via an active cable signal, then magically my phone rings and it's them on a telemarketing campaign.
And did you notice they are showing a late payment receipt almost every month now even though my bank statement shows the money left the account 2 days before the cale payment due date?
I think the CRTC has a word for this practice.........

Called me just now, first time. Didn't answer. I can believe it's Shaw, because I just revived my mothballed student internet account yesterday.

Shaw never used to do this previously when I had this account.

If they keep at it I'll warn them I can always switch to Telus.
