You are trying to get me to pay two month's ahead and I won't bite and the CRTC is always interested in these practices. If you get caught you'll have to refund interest on the accounts who fell for this trick or heaven forbid...lower your rates. Unethical business practices! I suppose when I let one of your repair technicians into my residence he is really casing the place for potential burglary. It all starts at the top....and it doesn't look good.

- JoewI just got a call ( again) from this number It was sxhaw trying to get us to switch over to Shaw phone.. I told him ( didnt speak english very well) that we are with Telus right now and we are happy. He said they could offer us a phone service that would save us money.. I declined telling him if we were interested we would call them. He said if you call Shaw we will not get this great deal and tried to convince me again. I told him NO and to remove us from his call list then he tried again I AGAIN SAID NO and if they did NOT remove us from his list I would discontinue our SHaw Cable as well as our internet.. He apoligized and said to have a good nite..

- WilliamHi guys, If you are having this problem. I have the solution for you. This call is coming from their automated call back system. Chances are that you tried to call them and couldnt get through to them in the past year or 2. The Call back system for shaw is really bugged it seems and will occasionally start calling people back automatically every day, Forever...
The only way to solve this is to contact Shaw technical support and tell them about it. They will Review their callback and then remove your number from the service.

- Seriously Annoyed| 1 reply888-472-2222 starts calling me now on my (unlisted private) phone number. Last year I had to threaten them with going public when they were harassing me several times a day for over quite some time.
I am working nights and since I cancelled my TV with them years ago they kept bugging me about everything and anything. Just from another number (778-945-1013). I told every single person : STOP CALLING ME!!! And every single person said: yes, of course, we have it written in your account....
Sh*t... the calls kept coming and coming, I blocked them on my Panasonic phone, but it still rings 1 time, then it gets disconnected. But.. it wakes me up. I called customer service: STOP calling me! - they denied that it was from SHAW, but the people who were calling me had all my account info, what internet/phone bundle I have and since when. And they kept calling. It turned out that it was "the sales department"...So I kept calling customer service again and again and again and again and again, until I got a very nice (yes, indeed, East Indian) lady, told her my problem and ... voila! the calls stopped. Hopefully I won't have to go through all this again. It was around the same time of the year... the summer hole.

- We're not happy until you're not happyA friendly high-pressure SHAW telemarketer told me he was gonna upgrade my internet and phone and tried to upsell me on my shaw services (TV that I don't have a need for) and wouldn't take my NO for an answer. I phoned the real SHAW customer service (the number is on your shaw bill) and told them to make sure there was no change to my account as a result of my previous conversation and expressed my concern about people they hire to tick off their paying customers. The service rep also offered me to add my number to their do not call list. We'll see if that makes any difference.

- John R replies to Thieves !I wouldn't be too sure. I worked in a call centre and often people who thought they were paid up were actually behind 2 months. Common cause was an unknown missed payment or an expired or cancelled credit card. Payments also take 2-4 days to go through from a bank to a company. Just sayin'.
