Yes, It's FIDO "WIN BACK" department. When you switch over to a competitor provider or when they dig out your number from your internet.  I talked to Fido Mall agent. That's what it is.

Yes, this is Fido's real number. That does not mean that it is really them calling you. Isn't it still possible to spoof someone else's number?  I get Chinese robot calls on this number. I assume they are phishing.

I keep blocking the fido cust service numbers but somehow they still get through. I do NOT have an account with fido so there is no reason to call me.

If it was Fido, I haven't had a Fido account  for years. Canada I thought were supposed to stop this idiots from calling, but like everything else it was just a lot of talk. I declined the call and blocked them and life goes on.

This number has called me 2 times today I am with Fido my bill are in the positive and he called to speak to the account holder. I told him I was an authorized user and he could speak to me. He didn’t say his name or what department he was in... he got mad and hung up. I called Fido and they said there is no record of them calling and next time to get a interaction I.d from them and ask them to put notes in the file.

sir, you don't understand, your number has been spoofed and people in china are using it to harass your customers. my dad and i just paid our first bill, and they told him he owes 1200! and we aren't alone, extremely hostile people are using this exact phone number and since there's no other way to contact you people, they're getting away with it because you people couldnt possibly give less [***] about your customers.

It was Fido calling me and it was legit. Google automatically blocked this # on my android phone, I had to manually mark it as 'not spam' so that I could unblock it.

Got called.  Chinese (or at least some tonal language) phone-spam, presumably with forged caller-ID if the number really does belong to Fido.

I pay my bill every damn time and never missed a payment so why you calling me then??

I do not have nor have I ever had a Fido account.  Just received a call from this number on my home (VOIP) line, typically I do not answer calls when I do not recognize the number but after 4-5 rings I did this time. There was no one on the line so I assume that their computer dialed a handful of numbers and someone else answered before me. The number is now blocked.

This number is Fido's, but the caller is not from Fido. They forged the number as their caller ID, and tried to scam people! (Any ID can be set in most phones).
Suspicious because I have never been a Fido customer, and the caller speaks poor English, and also tried to talk to me in Mandarin. I just cut off without listening further.
On Fido webpage, they confirmed it's scam, and posted reports from many people.
