Calls numerous times - no one on the line

They introduced themselves as citicards collections, told me that I owe two months payment, provided me with an unspeakable amount to pay and requested I pay it by phone.

BEWARE and tell all your elderly relatives

Called and introduced themselves as Citi - as in Citi bank, but then proceeded to tell me they were with TD Bank and I had an overdue balance.  Then they asked me for my checking account routing and account number to pay my bill over the phone. I refused because:

1. No caller ID on my phone.
2. Said they were Citi and then TD...
3. Were pressuring me to pay by phone.
4. I did not receive the bill and did not know what I was paying.

They had our account number, social security number, charges on the account (apparently) and maybe they are legitimate but I wouldn't take the chance.

I got this number from the person calling.

call more than 3 or 4 time a day, no any kind of message, until last one claim to be TD Bank,umhhhh........

Have been receiving calls from this number. A female caller says she is calling from TD Bank and that I am behing in paying my credit card. Today 5/18/10 at 10:36am she called asking me to pay $68.00 by my credit card so that I remain in good standing. I refused to pay. She told m that she is reporting me to the Credit Bureu.
Please investigate.

I must get 6 calls a day, I have told them to stop calling us.  They say they are credit card companies.  How can I get my phone number to block them?

I get a call from someone daily several times that comes up as "10" on caller ID.  Who are these peopel?

Same thing happened to me..theyve been calling for days, and most of the time no one is on the line, but this time they said it was TDBANK with an URGENT message and asked for my social security number. I hung up and called TDBANK, who said it was a fraud.

Automated voice call said "please hold for an important message" followed by hold music. I hung up before finding out anything more.

the problem  was  fix  on Saturday  but  on  Tuesday  I got  a call..  
TD bank  is   activating  some  out  of  control  automatic calling  system

Answered call, said hello 4 times and got no response. Hung up. Automated dialer I guess.

I have gotten repeated calls some times their Citi bank some times their TD bank. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!   Do not give them any info hang up!!!!!!

It is TDBank.   If you have the Visa through them.   I have gotten three calls today alone, and it is only two days late.   I know late is late, but come on three calls in one day.  And after the first one, I went on line and paid the bill!

They are NOT TD Bank! The number is similar to TD Bank, but not the same! They are a SCAM!!

Just called the number on the back of myy cc 888-561-8861 which is one digit off, and asked them if 8862 is also them and they said yes and had the record of the phone call to me. So no it's not a scam. However it's always good practice to not give info but call them directly if ur not sure.

They call me many times a day everyday trying to make me say "yes" or my name.  They identify themselves as a car service.
They never leave a voice message.its always the same voice, a woman, very intimidating. These calls are very close to harassment. I don't know how to get rid if them. I asked her to take my number off their list, then she hangs up and call a few hours later.

Calling too many times every day. Even before the time they are allowed to call. Had a few calls at 7am!!!

Send them a Certified Return Receipt letter, Keep your Receipt when it is returned to you. demand that they no longer contact you. Specify in you letter, pursuant to the
          Federal Fair Dept Collection Practices Act 15 USC   / 1692  
they are to cease all future attempts to contact you.
  VIOLATIONS OF THESE LAWS MAY INCUR TREBLE DAMAGES PLUS ATTORNEY'S FEES.
Note: ask for their mailing address, if they think you will be sending money they will be more than happy to provide it........... Good Luck..
