even if you have a grace period of 10day you are still late on your payment, and you probably was unable to read your contract before signing it that is why you are complaining for the calls that you are receiving... though the taxpayers money and the bailout should not be an issue every time that you get a collection call due to the fact that you are late with your payment and was not responsible enough to make your payment on time and immature to accept that in every business there are policies and procedures that needs to be followed why there are some request that can not be granted which is for sure in relation of you not having the funds to pay your debt, shouldn't you be happy that ALLY is working hard to make sure that(what you are claiming your money which is a business between the GOVERNMENT AND ALLY) the money that the government entrust to them will not be put in to waste and can be considered as a good business decision... or what you really want is for that money to be pun on waste so you can blame every thing to ally and the government???

They call my work number three or four times a day.  My work number is not on my profile anywhere.  I have no idea how they got my work number.  I have asked them to not call me at work as I cannot take personal calls at work or I can't hear them, and they won't even identify themselves anyway.  In fact, I don't have any telephone numbers on my profile.  I am severely hard of hearing (only have 25% of my hearing) and prefer to use emails to communicate.  They won't do this.  I'm really getting fed up and need to know how to stop these calls to my work phone.

Don't even try to get ahead with these people. I made 3 payments in one month and when I skipped a payment they turn it in on my credit. I told them I get paid on the first of the month and they start calling me the last week of every month tring to get me to do a on phone payment that thay charge u for. Make them wait it only takes a week or less for it to get there by mail. Ally (gmac) you are a pain and your people are rude!!

Apparently someone provided an incorrect number (mine) when taking out a loan with this company.  So now I have been receiving calls in regards to a late payment.  I have told three different people that this is not a correct number for the people with the loan, I do not know them, and that they should remove my number from their records.  The first individual said he would, but then I received a call the next day, and that person told me to call another number to remove my number.  I called them and that person told me they could not remove my number without authorization from their customer.  I pointed out the idiocy of that lack of logic, but she didn't seem to care.  I expect I will receive another call tomorrow.

This number 888-611-6904 calls every day and night. It's an automated recording looking for someone, ( NEVER GIVES THE PERSON'S NAME ) And tells you to contact them back asap.
Getting tired of all these calls. Telemarketers need to STOP.

got a call from that number and did not answer it , instead i did a phone number look up to see it was gmac, then to boot the payment is not due until 7/17/2012 per them not sure why they are calling me and last- they have even started calling me for someone else bill and it sounds like a robots voice so i cant make out the name exactly :(

My daughter answer the phone and they ask for me, she ask who's cxalling and they hang up. If they are a collection agency from GMAC, so be it. But I think this is just a sheep in wolfas clothing. Beware

Ally finance calling for a payment

Ally Financial has been calling my mother since she received a new cell phone.  Apparently the number she now has previously belonged to someone who owes them money.  Each time they call she explains to them that she just received the phone number and doesn't know the person they are trying to call.  The calls keep coming so I step in and call to explain the situation.  I was assured the calls would stop.  Yet they kept coming so I called again and was assured a second time and a third time the calls would stop and she would receive no more collection calls after 10/15.  And yes on the 16th she got another call.  I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them today and finally threatened to have my attorney contact them.  I hope that's not necessary but it's ridiculous to repeatedly harass a 71 year old woman who doesn't owe money to anyone.

They have been calling me a few days now and like 5 times a day. I'm going to play a mind game with the lot of them and maybe they will stop calling.

Don't ever use Ally company on a vehicle.  They will worth you to death and want listen to you explain that you signed the note and always have had good credit. they call all the time instead of to the one that is suppose to be paying for this.  They are making me sick with worry calling so much and charging so much extra to the one's paying it.  My credit is good but they are charging high interest.  Going to get an attorney to settle this.
