- PatGot the same call from an initial number in Texas. They followed through with an automated voicemail to call a 1-888 number, which when researched found it was in fact Liberty Mutual. Called the 1-888 number and it asked for my zip code. Entered zip code and was transferred to a supposed office in Tampa. I am in Fort Myers / Cape Coral area mind you. Must like the rest of you I am unemployed and looking very hard to find any type of employment. This was an excitement for me seeing the situation. But a complete let-down when everything came to reality. I'm not sure what this is trying to accomplish. But I found many people stated they had put their resume on Careerbuilder.com, much like I had done myself. So first things first I removed my resume from that site. My belief is this was set up by somebody who either previously worked for the company and lost their job. So they decided to be an a**hole n screw with the rest of the world and make Liberty Mutual look bad. Or perhaps somebody who Liberty Mutual wouldn't hire, so the individual decided to try and cause issues for the company. In either case it doesn't seem legit, so you would probably be better off staying away from it.
- Caller: Liberty Mutual
- Pat replies to Crystal L MillerCrystal sorry it is not a legitimate call. Just looks like maybe somebody is playing games.
- jamesi got a call from the same thing!! Im thinking that most of us filled out application on a site like careerbuilder or monsterjobs and people are being able to view our personal info!!! What to do!! i cant believe this!
- Caller: ?
- JudyThis is a scam preying on the unemployed who are seriously seeking employment. Something has to be done to stop these criminals. I have been scammed many times while looking for employment. Scammers claiming to be from Hartford, Bankers & Liberty Insurance to name a few. I have contacted human resources with one of the three insurance companies & they say they do not use any means like this to hire.
- GuitaI got a call from this number also telling me that my resume had been received and they were hiring, my caller ID got it as:197-220-0982, I reviewed it and there's no such area code.
