Got the same postcard in the mail stating that they had a parcel for our address - since my husband is expected a package from his company I called the number 888-727-2350 and got a recorded message saying they were away from the desk or on another line and to leave the control # on the card & our name and phone #.  I did - and now I have decided to check on-line for the phone number. Duh, I should've checked BEFORE calling.  Got to be a scam.  Really irritating that these people can't be prosecuted for something.

I got the card 3/11/2008 in Spring Hill, TN. I know the USPS carrier and ask about this card. I was told USPS did not try to deliver a parcel delivery. EWS appears to be located out of Las Vegas as the parent company and this is exactly what it seems like(scam). They must be making money from some unfortunate people or they couldn't afford the 26 cent stamp and printing on the card. I saw another thread on this at https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-727-2350

Husband received a card in the mail, 7/12/08, in Clarksville, TN. Same as above comments: EWS Sorry We Missed You! We have a parcel delivery for you, with a control #. Our # isn't penciled in. Call 1-888-727-2350. Got a voice message when called stating this is Rachel, I'm on the phone or away from desk (words to that effect). Leave your name, phone number, and control #, which I didn't.

Looks like they moved on down here, cause I got one a few days ago; no hand-written number, so they must've "upgraded" their work...

Rec'd post card - control # is printed, not handwritten.  Label is typewritten so the addresses must be generated from some marketing list.  This Tel # appears on my caller id frequently requesting that we call them back.  They have # and address so if this was a real delivery service, they would have attempted delivery and left a note on your front door with instructions if they missed you, not require you to call them and leave personal information!  Don't be fooled by this. simply ignore it as junk mail and block the number from your phone.  Also don't forgot to add your tel # to the do not call registry.

Rec'd same postcard a few weeks ago - nothing handwritten.  Nice papaya stamp.  It was addressed to my husband, but I convinced him it must be a scam and then Googled it -- guess what?  Looks like a scam!

Same card, same scheme, but they have changed company names and phone #.  Got a card today (1/8/2009) in Clarksville, TN.  Company name is now G.E.T., same thing, sorry we missed you, control #0105c with 279 written in pen, call 1-888-438-4202 ext#1 and hours listed.  Looks like a sales scheme from my end.

we got a card in the mail today (1/17/09). it's from EWS. "we have a parcel delivery for you...control # fbwo118-581...call 1-888-727-2350"...our card says they are a BBB accredited business, which i find very hard to believe if this is such a big scam.
