What is this a scam of exactly?  Anyone have any idea?

Got one in Indian Mound, TN.  I'm actually expecting a package, so I called to see if it had come.  Card came postmarked from Nashville.  Got the voicemail, the whole show.  More for the trash can...

EWS card rec'd today (1/27/09).  Glad I looked it up before my husband called.  Must be canvassing TN.  We're in Goodlettsville.  Thanks for posting folks.

We also got a postcard in the mail from "G.E.T." that informed us of a missed package and numbers to call. G.E.T stands for "Green Earth Technologies." URL http://get-h2o.com Apparently they sell water treatment equipment. This is the same thing as phone telemarketing or spam emails. Probably is a money making scam that's hitting TN now

Goodlettsville, TN seems to be the current target area of the scam. Yesterday's mail brought me a postcard from EWS, too. (We have a parcel delivery for you. CONTROL #FBW0130-394. Call 1-888-727-2350 11am - 8pm Monday - Thursday, 11am - 5pm Friday, 10am - 1pm Saturday.  BBB Accredited Business). I did not call the number. I googled it instead. They must be making money in order to afford the 27 cent stamp and the printing of the card.

According to information supplied by the company, it offers water treatment products and is an authorized Ecowater Systems Dealer. The company also offers the sale of filters and softners to improve the quality of water.
EcoWater Systems markets it products through direct mail advertising which states "We have a parcel delivery for you." The parcel delivery includes a 4-pack of reverse osmosis bottled water in a reusable sports cooler, a $10 gift card to a neighborhood Kroger store and a free water analysis that will be performed by a water technician. This is a free service EcoWater provides to families in the area. There is no cost or obligation to receive the parcel delivery which includes the free water analysis.

I too received a postcard in the mail stating that "We have a parcel delivery for you". I am always skeptical of garbage such as this. I knew that the first thing I would do this morning was Google the number. Step two; file a complaint with the BBB. Here it is April 2009 and this company is still at it. Does anyone ever truly do anything about these deceitful and fraudulent companies???? I'd like to call just to give them a piece of my mind.

They have been calling and then sent a post card also with "BBB accredited business"  EWS was who it was from and they 'claim' to be in the water business.

I got the same postcard at my Nashville Tn address.  I called within the times listed on the postcard and got a voice message to leave my name, control number and telephone number for a callback. Nobody called me back.

I got one on Friday, August 7th, in Oak Hill (Nashville).  The call number is different -- 877-439-7754 -- but everything else is consistent with what people have reported here.  I called; was asked to leave a message but did not.

Got one today in Manchester, TN. from EWS, printed control #, and the phone # 877-439-7754.  Oh Boy!

Postcard received this week from EWS with a control number and the #1-888-866-9180, claiming they have a parcel delivery for me. I don't know of anything it could be, concerned it may be a scam.

They are still at it in the Spring Hill, TN area and this is 05/2012

Just got the same post card from EWS today on October 30, 2012 and the phone number was different as well. 1 888 866 9180 was the number they provided for a package that I was expecting. I am waiting on new tires for my car and assumed they couldn't deliver the large package and needed me to drive to Nashville to receive it. From Clarksville, it's not too far, but definitely out of the way for a package. I called the number and was told it was a water conditioner company and they told me that I could get a water tech out to my house to do a water test. I had to deal with another company doing the whole water softner thing before, so I told them not to even bother.
