previous last nights reapeatedly i got a call frm this no. +88888888 i dnt knw who is he cn anybody tell me whos no. is this

some lady called me thrice from this no., kept saying smthing in tamil or telugu. when i replied in an imaginary language, prompt came the reply in english .. "ok .. sorry .. wrong no." ...
wierdos roaming all around I say ...

Who call me from this number? I have never seen such type of number before....

I called up ISP to regarding this ...

i got calls from these number, but no one answer me, i cant hear any sound. is it possible to hide a call and use this number,

Yes, we have a firm in Denmark called Leasy which goes by the number 88888888, but I don't think that it is Leasy who has been calling.. If Leasy where to call somebody in Italy the number would look like this +45 88888888..
By the way Leasy wouldn't call somebody in the middle of the night.. :)

someone figured out how to hack the phone system and put whatever number they want to appear as the caller ID. I saw this on the CNN news 2 nights ago.

its a big deal for the phone companies to fix this asap!

Got a call from 88888888, offering me 7,000 dollars from the US GOV if i sent them 200.00 by western union.  Are people so stupid to fall for this? are people so desperate they have to steal from the poor.

Gotten a bunch of calls from 888-888-88...notice theres not 10 digits? They re trying to get u to wire money though western union to india they wont say who they r just to send money to cover fees and theyll give u $7000+ back or wutever nothing but scammers!

10 Dec 2011 I got a call from this number 008 888 888 8888  with an asian sounding person saying they were from ET services representing windows internationally and he asked me to go onto my computer and check the windows error files etc...  when I asked him where it was leading he said that he would help me to remove them...   I told him it was fine as they had never bothered me before and then he hung up!!!
