I just had a call too didnt answer mind as thought it was strange

Also got a call from this number today for the first time. Didn't answer and won't.

Just sat at work and received a call on mobile from +88888888

Didn't bother answering, just let it ring out. My guess is its on eof those annoying PPI companies trying it on again.

Same thing. + 88888888 on my phone no mesg and seems no way of finding out unless one rings then back. Which would be stupid as it's quite likely some insurance company working out of the country. If course with branches here but this is the closest I've got to my investigations so far. seems there's a big ins co. That scans it all. Can I give the name of company here i wonder. Maybe not because an investigation is happening.

Do not have a clue who the call is from, but as soon as it came up on my screen i laughed and showed my colleagues and said "this call isn't dodgy is it?"

Just do not answer and forget about it. Simples.

i got a call from this # i was expecting a call from a courier with a parcel 20mins after the  call my parcel turned up. Yodel delivered it and they use GPS so  it could be connected. Any one else had a parcel after their phone call?

I had a call whilst on school run. Was expecting reply from police so answered it. It just went dead. Will ignore it from now on.

I recieved call in UK. I did not answer though. Strange. Maybe it's an alien race who control your mind when you answer via telepathic sound waves hahahaha.

I think there is relatively new, easily available software which masks the number you are calling from. This would explain why there are so many different stories regarding who is calling. Anyone can pick up the software, so it could be anyone calling. At least anyone who does not want you to trace their number. Could be anyone from crazy x girlfriends to debt collectors. My advice is to refrain from answering. It will stop soon enough.

I've recieved a message from this No. Asking " Edh aaredh number aanu".. Who will be that.. What can I do to avoid such sms?? Where to complaint about this???

I have received this number +88888888 on my mobile phone this afternoon. I do not know who called me with this number. I am wishing to report and help me identify this person.

This number called, I could not answer, no message left as yet.

I got called at UK lunchtime - I picked up - but then the call started ringing - so I quickly hung up.  I understand this number is outside UK as I've registered my mobile for the Telephone Preference Service to not get crank calls (& am v careful not to giv my no out for cold calls).  However this call is somewhat strange - if I get called again I will contact my mobile operator & complain. Hope that helps :)
