I am Indian I too recd a missed call from +8888 and do not know whose it is.

It is from www.mycharitysurvey.com, just had the call and i asked if he could tell me where he was calling from

Had this call, but didn't answer, but then my wife rang saying she had just rung but I didn't answer, I think it will end up being someone you know, but just comes down as that number, other people have said it is their friends calling through Skype.

hi im marko i got a call the other day in the afternoon i never go on skype the number was +888888888888 i answered the phone said hello marko speaking and they put the phone down just after me stopping speaking was just a beep thing......so i called it back and it said.... this number is not recognized. this number is not recognized.... that must mean the caller is not on this planet

Got a call from this number at 6pm today 24/11/12 nobody on the other end tho, strange

Got a call from +88888888 today 27th November 2012 at 09:14, stupidly I answered it and it was just the echo of what I was saying.

I'm a little worried reading all the comments.

I don't believe its skype as I don't know anyone who uses skpye unless someone has dialled a number wrong.

They called me today and got a guy called Paul ringing on behalf of www.mycharity.com who i have never heard of.
I asked him to hold and placed my phone in the other room and walked away.
Went back 10 minutes later and he had hung up.
I really wanted to talk to him as well NOT!!

This number is from a charity looking to drum up money.
Dont know how get our numbers but just ignored them.

Thats exactly what happened to me too...number said it wasnt recognized but straight after a family member rang me. Its annoying i wont b answering again

I received the call from this same no. +888888888888 at 13:29 (GMT+8.00), Monday 03/12/2012. I answered the call and a Chinese lady spoke some strange words to me. I'm not sure if its sounded like Cantonese or Mandarin? The call lasted for 7seconds only and it got disconnected by itself. Does anyone knows what is this about?

n) that he was from the charity survey people mentioned previously. Told him I was working. Could barely understand him!!
