I'm filling out an FCC Consumer Complaint right now for this very thing! My husband has to sleep during the day!!! Makes me furious. What makes it so much worse, is that we DON'T HAVE CHARTER! Never did! They have the wrong number or something, but we've told them that, and yet they call!

I just starting receiving these upsell calls and have asked to have my number removed from their list. Ever since I did that, they call and text endlessly.

They called and when I answered and said 'hello' they hung up.

Charter engages in harassment type tactics to collect money for your bill before it is due. Vulture mofos! F.O.!

I just started getting calls from this number about a week ago, but I get at least 5-6 calls a day and I haven't had Charter service in over 10yrs.

Charter has begun using a firm called A.T.S.  it is a call center based out of Missouri, to help handle late accounts, I think up to date they use a total of five call centers or so all over the globe..........so you might get some doofus from Central America, or Philippine Islands, or from Awbydawby....as far as people calling you that never had Charter....its a common mistake....but they should not be calling you more than once a day, never before 8;00 am Mon.-Fri, and 9;00 a.m. on Sat-Sun.  Now in Utah it's a little different...contact THE FAIR TRADE COMISSION and your local phone provider...F-Y-I.....in some markets CHARTER will be leaving the area and COMCAST will be coming....this ought to be fun...It's a shame you can't get a hold the [***], C-E-O Thomas Rutledge...love to tell him where to stick it...anybody have his number????

Good to know it's charter...I work nights, get home at 4:30am only to be woken up to this number calling me at 6:30 in the morning then again at 9:30. No message, no nothing. They have no reason to call me, I have auto pay to my cc. Very annoying

I do not have Charter - I believe I'll avoid them - until these calls started I was considering switching to Charter.  It looks like all of these TV signal and internet providers are only interested in new sales and not customer service or customer retention.
I get these calls many times a day.  I've no use for phone solicitations;  if I want something, I'll look in GOOGLE for it.

I was a collector for years...and it is against theblaw to call before 8AM...or after 9PM.   It is also against the law for them to harass you by calling gmultiple to.es and leaving messages. If you do not answer, or have a voicemail...they can call between those hours ...until they reach you.  File a complaints t with the company and you CAN demand they stop calling. As for robot calls...tell them to put you  . The do not call list...and report them every time they call after that. Its a lot of work, put sorry to say without filing a lawsuit ..it is the only way to make them stop.

Try going to their website and change your preferences that they are not to call you. It may help.

i don't even use charter and i'm hit 3 to 4 times a week. its spam!

Please don't be an IDIOT troll. I don't have cable TV and wouldn't waste a penny on that crap. Also Charter is not the local company, which means I don't have their service or a bill from them. Yet it is charter trying to sell their service to me. I am a retired investigator from a  telephone company, charter is using a Telemarketing list to sell you service, but the [***] there can't seem to comprehend the concept that they can't sell where they have no service, so instead of buying a list specific to their location and pay a few pennies more this shotgun marketing approach is what they do. Threaten to sue them and report them to the FCC, and FTC. Make sure your number is on donotcall.GOV so you have legal recourse to sue.

I get several calls  a day from this  number.   It is so annoying.   I'm so tired of it.  How do I  stop it?

I have just received the 23rd, yes 23rd, call from Charter THIS WEEK.  I closed my account with Charter and went with Direct TV 8 years ago.  I have been getting their calls for months and finally downloaded Privacy Star to block their calls.   THEY NEED TO STOP CALLING.  I wouldn't go back to them even if it was free!!

Call me just about once per hour. Eight calls today!!  No overdue bill.  We canceled Charter TV ten months ago, all paid.  Shoulsd definitely be illegal.
