I have received numerous robot phone calls warning me it is my last chance to get an extended automobile warranty. I have informed them my phone number was placed on the federal Do Not Call List years ago and asked them not to call again. They continue to call. After receiving two calls in one day, I faked interest in order to get them to identify themselves. They are:

After a lot of effort, I managed to obtain Mr. Cowart's phone number and called him to complain. I told him every time his telemarketers called me, I would call him. He apologized, took my name and phone number, and promised not to call me again. Six days later his telemarketers violated that promise. I immediately called him to complain once again.

If you are being pestered by this dubious scofflaw, I suggest you call and complain to him personally. His personal cell phone number is 954-980-1394.

It may be a stretch to call this co. a complete scam but you had better do your homework if you are interested.
1. if you don't want to be called take steps to prevent it.
2. if you are interested ask for a "complete" copy of the warranty before you take the leap. The warranty is full of key words that protect the warranty co. and leave you hanging.If they will not provide a copy for review that is a big red flag 3. Never, ever give your card # to a stranger on the phone. Up front companies have secure websites to handle card tranactions and still there is an element of risk.
4. Consider the age of your car and it's condition; Even if it is a late model and in poor condition you may never be able to use the warranty as they  require reasonable proof of regular maintanance as per the dealer requirements to maintain a warranty. You are better off using your money to buy a better car and "take care of it". This is one of the reasons our health care system is busted.
5. Transcontinental Warranty is a marketing arm of Alpha Warranty Services, Inc., Draper, Utah, 800-662-5519, who may well be an agent for another company. Who knows who really underwrite these plans??
6. Like any insurance coverage " the devil is in the details".

Andrew, you are a liar. This information is not entered into a website. You use a program that you enter their mileage year/model. You know nothing about these people. It is completely random. Stop sticking up your job-- if u don't want to be insulted- don't lead a job that is insulting!!

ANDREW. You have no idea what you are talking about. That's what they tell all their employees. They buy the leads from a lead company then the leads are put into a dialing system and the systems starts calling people.you don't even know what kind of car they have.And you are told to just hang up if you can't get any info.Stop trying to justify their actions.

This firm called my elderly mother and said they were from the government and wanted to know the license number of her car.  They then discussed providing here an extended warranty on her 18 year old car.  Luckily she gave them her check number rather than checking account number.  They tried to request money from her bank but we stopped that.

I called them talked with a guy who wouldn't release his last name and he said he would take her off of the list.

Today, my sister was at my mothers and got three calls from this place wanting payment for the warranty because she wouldn't be covered.  My sister acted dumb and confused and they kept pestering her.  What a bunch of predators.

I called this number again and provided my mothers phone number and they said it wouldn't be called again.  I doubt it.

please dont buy frm this company this is a real scam...they harrased on people the claims are always been denied.. just be careful please, i bought one warranty from them and i was denied a claims and in top of that i cancel and never got refunded they told me 4-6 weeks its been past 12 weeks and i put a dispute on that and they won the case because the manager mindi said i never called to cancel, but yet they have in records that i did call to cancel and she lied to the company sayin i had never called to cancel, so now im not getting refunded.. this is how you know this is a scam! help them go down please help report this!

I used to work there..it's a pretty bad scene. I was customer service manager. If you are expecting a refund you probably won't get it for quite some time and if you want to put a dispute on the charge you can, all you have to say is that you never signed anything. If you think you're alone, you're not.

Oh, one more thing..I don't know who "Andrew" is, in the 18 months I worked there but he is wrong. Yes, there is a website that has JUST been made that people can go on and enter their information HOWEVER that is not how 99.9% of the business is done :) Also, there is no need to add the word BLIND when explaining ignorance because it is obviously just that..maybe you should focus on the word DENIAL "Andrew". If they haven't burned the bridge between you and them yet, it's only a matter of time. For your own sake, make sure you have a plan B.

They just keep calling and won't stop even though I have asked repeatedly to have my number removed from their call list. Any time I ask for information about their company they hang up. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

TAW contacted me to purchase this excellent warranty package in Feb 2008.  It required a $350 deposit.  The sales guy told me that if i did not use the warranty at all and decided to cancel that I would receive a full refund of all monies rendered.  I called to cancel my warranty in June 2008 because I had not used this warranty and I was making payment of $110 a month for the past 5 months.  I was talked in to having my payments lowered to $78 and keeping the warranty.  In October I called to cancel again for the same reason.  I was told that I should expect a refund within 6-8 weeks.  Well In Feb 2009, I still have not received my refund.  The company's 888 customer service number has been disconnected.  I was just able to hunt down another number to contact the company. When I finally reached someone, I was told by Jackie that she is not aware of me receiving a refund but she would go ahead and process it for me.  She says that everybody I was in contact with in the past has been fired.  She promoised I would receive my refund in 48 hours, but not to my surprise I still am sitting without my money.  If you are smart you would not deal with this company.

Just got a call from 702-520-9104. Vegas area.  The guy said we was with TransAmerica Warrenty.  These scam outfits seem to like operating in GOP controlled states where consumer protections are next to nil.

I'm sending this to everybody who is concerned and wants to see the end of this company.I'm willing to work with anybody or official who wants to investigate this company and shut it down unfortunately I have to keep myself anonymous for my safety because these guys are capable of anything.A lot of things are going on at that place: drug use, credit card fraud and they just hire anybody that comes through the door most of the current employees are convicted felons from a work release program, these criminals make up about 80% of their workforce. There was a poster here who described a lot of things that were going on over there right on target
Joshua Decker is the general manager and he recently had to take leave from work for about 3 days because of cocaine abuse
Chris Sagnelli is the VP and also part owner of the company he smokes weed and snorts cocaine right in the parking lot, they had this girl in customer service whose name was aretha moodie she was their drug dealer but they got rid of her about a month ago. Our sales tactics are very unethical  and illegal I'm surprised they haven't shut this place down yet I guess you people are not complaining enough to the right authorities.
Michael Massaro is one of the sales managers and he is also a convicted felon, you have all these guys Phillip Strand who is currently on house arrest is also a manager, Edward Zeff, James Dryden, Andrew all these guys are a bunch of crooks and they should all be arrested, the worst thing is the owners are having sex with a lot of the female employees that's how they get pay raises and promotions. drugs are everywhere, people are being scammed on a daily basis,these people should be stopped before it's too late. I urged everybody to call the FTC and complain or the attorney general

Hello, I just read your post. I worked there for a while, and was high up with all them guys. I did alot of work there. I am shocked to hear that Aretha is gone, and Josh went on leave. Well not shocked, thats not surprising... But.. I'd like to know who you are! We possibly worked together. I quit there because of harassment. I don't care if they see this, because I have evidence against a boss harassing me.

and if the FTC Reads this, write back on here. I have many witnesses proving I was verbally harassed there! I've seen all the drugs, and the illegal stuff they do. They do have sex with all the girls in there. They are SICK.

AND OH YEAH, I'm one of the females, that got promotions and raises without having sex with any of those people, not even close to flirted with any of them, or did drugs or dealt drugs to them. I actually earned my promotions, but I was still treated like I was dirt.

And ANDREW whoever you are, get real. I worked there, For a long time, never heard of an Andrew that had any real word in that company. Maybe you were one of the HUNDREDS of people they hire every month. I worked high up there and know all the scams, and how they work. They paid me very well, but it's not worth it.I didn't participate in any of the legal activies consciously. Andrew- stop sticking up for this company. And "ANDREW" Is probably Chris Cowart, or Chris Sagnelli, but probably Not Chris Sagnelli, because he doesn't know how to type, or maybe it is his mistress that he brings in there to work, and keeps a bottle of percosets in her desk along with a bottle of valiums and he has sex with her for money.
