    My phone doesn't even have access to the internet so I definately haven't subscribed to anything but got two texts at £1.50 each. Have contacted Vodafone and asked them to stop all premium rate numbers.

    Same here, unsolicited text received today and yesterday from bluestream, both were the 'what the f**k were you thinking....' text.  And to my work mobile not personal email.  

    I have emailed the IT helpdesk at work to warn them that they need to speak to vodafone to see how to stop this.  I refuse to speak directly with bluestream to unsubscribe from a service I never subscribed to - but I have that luxury as I am not paying my account - how awful for the guys on personal pay monthly plans.

    I have emailed a complaint to phone pay plus - asking them why these cowboys are allowed to operate, and that I expect resolution of my complaint or I will be writing to BBC watchdog!

    I am most concerned as to how they got my details in first place.  Can anyone tell me the correct legal body to write to in complaint, as I wish this to be properly investigated and the persons responsible brought to account.

    Conversation with Vodafone:
    Can stop Premium text messages only for contract customers - so pay as you go have to suffer, call 191 and complain, please. Was not charged for the text, they recommend the following.

    - text STOP back to the number
    - call and/or email customer services help@blue-stream.com 0844 887 0432
    - if all that fails get a new number/sim card

    This is the wrong way round, I should not have to change because a company is breaking the law sending unsolicited text messages!

    just to add to my last posting my wife has just tried to google 89995 and its a very rude porn site a movie came up on the screen showing a girl and guy having sex its called the [***] bank so beaware people , sorry to be so open but we do need to know whos tapping into our phones il be sending emails to my local mp and also to mr cameron him self

    You can see the history of unhappy people throughout this discussion thread going back months, all of whom are saying that they did not initiate bluestream services in anyway - and I will bet that this has translated into a high number of formal complaints about them.

    I'd love to know how many formal complaints you have received year to date about these guys.  
    Can you explain to us, why on earth they are still operating?

    Another thing - why on earth are you using this discussion thread to tell people that they need to contact bluestream as first point of action?  

    Are you serious?  Or are you having a joke - on us, the innocent consumers who are getting ripped off and offended by bad language into the bargain?

    Surely it is plain to see the blatant disregard that bluestream have for the law - both data protection legislation and the PECR Regs.  

    I do hope that you're not yet another toothless and therefore pointless quango.

    Errr .... not really!  If you had read this thread in full you would have seen the difficulty experienced in unsubscribing from this service.  And you miss the basic point, which is why should anyone have to unsubscribe from a perverted service which they never subscribed to in the first place.

    You don't happen to work for Bluestream by any chance?

    The only appropriate solution is for this company to be taken out of operation.

    Hi Kristina - no way of knowing really and I doubt bluestream will tell you.  Best bet is to email the ICO to express your concerns as to how bluestream have got hold of your number and let them investigate your complaint.
