It's Verizon.  I just spoke with one of their technician's and and was told, "It's fine, just don't click the link".  That's not fine!!!  I told her about all of the complaints on here and that they needed to re-think that one in a major way!  Also that the way it's worded sound like it's from someone who doesn't speak English well.  Mine was a text.  I haven't gotten a call and I better not or it's going to on!!! :(

Received a text msg from this number and it appeared to be in a foreign language so I can't translate!  I've been on a do not call list on my cell, so don't know how this managed to get through!  Who is it?!?!?

Spamming me about sending my messages to a landline number. It appears to be a scam and I don't want and it continues to spam me.  First claims to come from 253-856-66842 then if you extract address a new number comes as 900-080-004222 then states 253-856-6842 is a landline number. and charges you .25 a mmessage. Verizon please stop this!

Called my phone twice, 2 hours apart.  I tried to return call and both times message said it was "A NON EXISTANT NUMBER". Really?  REALLY???

So I texted it the return massage read:
"6315421867 is a landline #. Reply Y to send all TXT messages to this # as voice messages for .025/msg. + std msg fee. Details @ vtext.com TexttoLandline"

Callback number registered as the same 631-542-1867, but incoming text header tagged the number of origin as 900-080-004222

basically they call with an international line disguised as a domestic one and have you call them back and they generate callbacks ie "1-900" styled numbers.
