Receive several calls but they don't snswer

this call is fro Jacksonville, FL they don't answer.

Caller ID says they are from Jacksonville, FL; when I called back, number was disconnected. They work fast, don't they?!

I am on the phone with them right now.  I gave them fake information. I told them I was from Communion Bank. I gave them a bogus 16 digit number and a random 800 number. I was on with them for close to 9 minutes.

called numerous times over the past three days, terminates call as soon as it is answered.

They are calling about lowering your credit card interest rate.  Sometimes nobody is there, sometimes if you select option 1 for a rep it rings but nobody answers.

Sometimes I've gotten a rep and asked to be put on do not call list and they just hung up on me.  Today I finally got a rep that agreed to put me on don't call list and asked for my phone number.

Just a hang up.  annoying

just got a phone call and picked up before they could leave a message and I didn't say anything, then I hung up.  I just called the number back and it says it's disconnected. wtf?

I am on the  " DON NOT CALL LIST" an still get calls from this number. No one never answers or it hang up

That number called me. I called it back and it was diconnected.

I get calls from this number and another number, saying don't be alarmed, but today is the last day to lower your interest rate.  There are so stupid because they don't identify a company and I'm not about to give them an account number.  I've never talked to a person, but after answernig one of their calls I started getting calls from NCO, from Angie's List, from American Express.  NCO calls from numbers all over the country, multiple times a day.  Angie's List and American Express call every day, even on Sunday evening.  Maybe the first number is just checking to see if number is a working number.  I have internet phone service and am not able to block calls.  I do have caller ID, but they call so frequently that I have turned the ringer off on the phone.  I have told anyone that needs to contact me what is going on so that they will say something so that I will pickup the phone.  I'm on the do not call list, but other than reporting the companies/numbers I don't know how to stop this.

Got a recording stating that this was my "final notice" to reduce the interest rate on my account. Did not indicate any particular account.

Recording gave me the option of pressing 1 for more information or 2 to discontinue. I chose 2. If I had more time on my hands, I would have tried 1 just to see what they were up to.

Smells like phishing to me.

Receiving many calls from this number.  I am on the do not call list.  I have blocked the number, but this is still not right.  I don't have any credit cards!

They called and against my better judgement I answered... some recording about final notice to reduce interest rate. I wanted to talk to them, tell them to take me off the call list, but when I pressed 1 as directed, I was on hold for about two minutes then someone picked it up and just hung up. When I tried to call back, it bounced as disconnected.
I would so very much love to get the home number of one of these jerks. Never going to happen but I can dream.

No message left, we are on do not call list but from all the other comments whoever is calling doesn't care.

Had a hang up on my machine from this number. Since I was in Jacksonville a few weeks ago and ran into an old friend, I called the number back and got a recording that it was disconnected!

I get calls from this number everyday, but since i work I get stupid message about lowering rates.   I have no credit cards or mortgages, so has to be phishing

I get a call from this number once a week saying "this is the last chance to reduce my credit card interet.
The person who answers the phone (after the automated message) says they can lower my credit card interest. I did not contact any company for this. They say I contacted them, but I did not. I ask them each time to take me off their phone list. They are rude and hang up on me.
However, they continue to call me.

When I call this number back, I get a message that the number has been disconnected.
I tried to complan to the no call regestry but it says:

"The phone number 904-398-4657 was registered on September 30, 2008. Companies may call you for up to 31 days after that date. You may file a complaint if a company calls you after October 31, 2008."

What does this mean?  I have not done business with these people.
