I got a call from these people this morning. I have never taken out a payday loan. The only loans I have are student loans that I don't need to pay back until I graduate, I'm suspecting that I was put down as a reference to someone and where ever the person who referenced me tried to get a loan from sold my information to them. Do you think this is possible?

The same mofo's called me at work telling me there was legal action filed against me for a payday loan I took out in 2007. I asked if she was a lawyer representing cashnet usa & she said no but, that they are trying to help me. All she needed was my statement? I told her I was not doing anything over the phone & to send me something in the mail but, she just kept going on about no time to waste?? Well she pissed me off because she was so rude & talking over me that I told her to [***] OFF & quit harrassing me. I hope this was a scam cause I dont need jail in my life right now. I'm aware that I owe this place but they need to find a better way of collecting monies owed cause this is b.s.  3.5 million people have lost their jobs in america so GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!

I have been getting the same call at work and now at home. Sometimes they call from a call center or a 904 area code. all they say is that its a legal matter. seems suspicious to me.

Some man called A close friend of mine and told her that He was from H&P Capital and Told her That He was trying to get in touch with me that the loan company was golng to file a complant on me and I need to get in touch with him he said his name was Andrew Blurk. I called him back and he told me that I need to send him as money gram by 3pm or the would have me arrested for froud the number he had me call was 904 672 1026 Then the next morning a woman called and left a message that she had my file on her desk and she wanted to get witrh me befor she prossesed them

I have received the same phone calls. Called me at work one day. Told the guy I cannot take phone calls like this at work. Same line, someone is going to show up at my place of employment or home...blah blah blah. Very rude, etc. Ends the call with "Good Luck". Calls me the next day at work, and I reminded him that he cannot call me at work because we are not allowed to take personal business calls at work. I told him I was going turn him and his organization over to the FTC. He says "you can turn me over to whoever you want". I say, hold just a minute, let me turn on my audio recorder so I can record our conversation. He immediately hangs up! No more calls since. Hope this helps. The bottom line is if they want to take legal action, they will have to hire an attorney and sue you. Unless you owe several thousand dollars, it's not very likely they will do that. If they do, you will have to deal with it then, and could probably work out payment arrangements before it goes to court. Don't let them intimidate you.

Last week a friend of mine called me and told me that some one from H&P Capital named Andrew Blurk called and said there was a complaint filed on me from a loan company that I had made a loan with in 2007(he could not tell me the name of the loan company) and he wanted to get in touch with me. The number he called from was 904 672 1026 So I called him back and he told me that the loan company was going to file fraud charges on me if I didn’t pay him $420.00 by 3:00pm that day I asked if I could pay it out and he said no He wanted me to western Union Him the money. I asked if I could get some one to pay with there credit card and he wanted them to fax him a written letter with permission from this person so he could use his credit card to pay the amount. When he told me this I knew this wasn’t right this was a scam. I told him I was at work and I would have to take off from my job to get the money together to pay him He told me that I should call him back to let him know If  I sent the Western Union  money or the  credit card number  with the written permission to use the card. I never sent him anything. The next morning a woman from H&P Capital I don’t remember her name she left a message on my cell phone and said she had my file on her desk and she wanted to talk to me before she processed them. Well the next night I found this website and I posted what happened to me with this company H&P Capital and this phone number 904 672 1026 this guy Andrew Blurk is a big scam artist, A week has passed and I haven’t been arrested for not paying him  to prevent fraud charges. Today  He Called my friend back and told her that He has seen what I posted on this web sight and that I would hear from his attorney

TX for your info, as I recently received threatening phone calls from HP Capitol. I was making payments on a small loan(less than 500) that was turned over to them. The caller Tim Hoffman stated that if the full amount was not paid that I would be arrested at work. Seeing how I am a police officer, this would not be good. I started to research the company, because they would hang-up on me, when asked who are you and what's your address. Any additional info about the company would be helpful.

I received a call from a man from this company today at my job.  He left a message for me to return his phone call.  I proceeded to return the call by asking what type of company it was and the guy couldn't even tell me.  Therefore, something told me to google the name of the company and all of these comments on this so-called company came up.

I received a call from H&P Capital on my cell phone, asking for someone who was not me. I told them they had the wrong number. They asked again. I replied YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. The guy on the line said YOU ARE VERY RUDE and hung up on me. I called the number back and told his supervisor how rude his employee was, and he told me that yes, I WAS RUDE and that his employee was the victim! And then he hung up on me. I requested to be put on their DO NOT CALL list before getting hung up on, and that request was chuckled at. REPORT THEM TO THE FTC!!! I sure did

Someone just called me asking for my aunt...My aunt would never put me as a reference for a job or loan or anything because I'm still in school.  My mom thinks they got my number from phone records somehow because I just talked to my aunt yesterday....This is very shady and I don't think anyone should pay these people any money!!

I received back to back to back calls from these people harassing me and threatening me...calling out my physical address and saying "...stay put I'll get your attention". I wish they would show up...catch a surprise, but that lets me know that they are not a legitimate agency. They never said who they were but kept calling me by my name and saying I owe money to their client. never saying who the client was or the amount and never giving me the opportunity to even see the account or even dispute the validty of it...nothing in writing at all and they didn't want to discuss business but wanted me to argue I guess? I know the law and will be hiring a lawyer to handle this. They call from 9046721023, 9046721021, and 9046721024.

Just got the same call for my sister. Don't know who it is but will not be giving her the info. Mr. Tom Johnson called and gave me a call back number of 866-612-1284 which is different from the caller Id the call came from.

I like all of you, have gotten a phone call from a Mr. Jones at the company.  He called my sister first and told her that he had been trying to get ahold of me for the last 2 weeks.  Now unless he's calling from an unknown number and leaving hard breathing or elevator music on my voicemail, I haven't heard from him.  After recieving a VERY concerned phone call from my sister, I called the number and ext (to which belonged to a Stacy Boyd #293). I got their voicemail and left a message asking what this was in reference to and that I had never heard of the company before.  Well they decided to call back not even 2 minutes of my leaving the message saying that I owed some payday loan company money exceeding $300.  I have never had a loan through this company and the one loan I did have out was paid off in January of 08.  I told the gentleman that I had looked up the number online and told him of a the fraud and scam alerts associated with his business and number and he laughed saying that if I wanted to believe what I read and go to jail that it was my choice and that an officer would be at my door by 5:00.  Never have I ever been disrespected in such a way.  I guess what I'm wanting to know from ya'll is, what all has happened as a result of not believing these people??

I JUST GOT A RUDE CALL FROM A RACHELLE FROM H&P CAPITAL.  SHE WENT ON SAYING THAT I OWE MONEY TO THEM AND THAT I HAVE UNTIL 5PM TODAY TO PAY THEM.  I HUNG UP ON HER AND SHE CALLED ME BACK AND LEFT ME A MESSAGE IN A RUDE VOICE.

Just received a call from this number; never have before.  Didn't answer the number because I didn't recognize the number.  It was regarding my son, talking about how he had used me as a trusted reference and it was important it was that he return the phone call TODAY regarding a file on her desk; her name is Marie Starr from H&P Capital.  She rudely left a number 866-612-1284 x369; however, I will be answering the next time she calls, so she gets to know exactly who she's talking to.

Yesturday my neighbor recieved a call for this H&P Capital company asking for me saying it was a legal matter, so I called the lady back her name was Mrs. Snow which I think is so fake at ext. 239, she did tell me that I took out a loan with a payday advancement company which I did but have been paying them down, she also said I had till 4pm to pay at least half. I don't have any money. they are not a legal company they are a collection agency only, don't let them intimidate you.

They called my job today stating that i would be arrested if i did not pay.  The only thing is the payday loans i had were filed with my bankruptcy.  When i told MR White this he laughed and told me to stay there and he will get my attention.  These people are very rude and will tell you anything to scare you into paying.

I was working with this Ms. Jordan as well around April 2008 and I had sent H&P $400 from an old debt via Western Union.  I called Ms Jordan back and left her a message with the Reference number.  In the meantime I sent a Debt Validation letter to this company certified mail, asking for a detailed explanation of that debt ( I think that they over charged me and I wanted to see what the original balance was.) Oddly enough, I received an email today from western union stating that my money was not picked up by this company and they were redfunding my $400..I am really confused.  I even sent a copy of th Western Union form the H & P Capital with the Refernce number incase Ms JOrdan did not receive my message.

YOU GUYS THIS PEOPLE ARE SOOOOO RUDE AND THEY DONT EVEN GIVE ME INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT WAS IT ABOUT. THEY LEFT ME REALLY RUDE MESSAGES, SO THATS WHY I CALLED BACK, AND THEY WANTED ME TO HAVE MY ATTENTION THIS MINUTE AND I WAS REALLY BUSY AT WORK THATS WHY WHEN THEY CALLED BACK TOLD THEM THAT I WAS BUSY THAT I WILL CALL BACK AND I HANG UP LOL ...
