    i got a call from this number 904-672-1023 today he said it was Derek Casey. He was rude and threaten me that i will suffer consequences if i didn't pay within 2 hours . He also called a family members number and told him i needed to contact them immediately or i will go to jail. I know everything they did is against the FDCPA , THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT.

    OK so 1st of all if all u people didn't have a bad check out u wouldn't be getting these calls and no this isn't a scam. you can go to jail for not paying back your  bad checks because its illegal to do that. you wouldn't be getting any calls if u didn't get the loan in the 1st place so its you own damn fault that your getting calls. You are only hurting your self by not paying this [***]. SO GOOD [***] LUCK!!!

    These people have called me twice at work from Jacksonville Fl. I dont know who they are or what they want, but I know I will be hanging up on them the next time they call.

    I got a call from this HP Capital people too. They threatened to have someone arrest me too. But I am not easily fooled and after reading everyones post about this "so called" company I have taken action. as of today 6-28-10 I have filed the papers to put a Commercial Lien on this company.   SO DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY ANYTHING. Once this lien goes into affect they cannot do business for 70 years and if they do I promise you they will be the ones paying!!

    I just yesterday and today had a similar experience.  I received a call last night (August 11, 2010) from a Lisa Morgan 904-418-5000 ext. 133 at 5:55 p.m. in regards to a payday loan that I took out in February of 2010.  In March I had to close the account due to fraud and open another account, I assumed the check cleared and forgot all about it.  She called me and said that if I do not pay the full $312.00 by 10:00 a.m. the next morning that proceedings will be started against me.  I informed her that I thought it was taken care of and she asked me if I received the notice of proceedings that they sent the beginning of July.  I informed that I received no information and if they could re-send it to me.  She transferred me to ext. 121 (not remembering the guys name) and he said that they will not send anything out and I have until the next day to pay it or proceedings will be started.  I told him that I have no problem paying it but that would not be enough time and if I could have until Friday to transfer the funds and take care of it.  He got abrupt with me and told me I was wasting his time and good luck to me and hung up.  I called back and spoke to Ms. Morgan who gave me Western Union Information and that I could just call western union and pay for it.  I told her that I would like to do it on the internet for tracking purposes.  She gave me the western union information and put me on hold and talked to the other gentleman and she came back and said if I could pay a good faith payment of half by 10:00 a.m. then I could have until Friday.  I told her I would see if I could meet her time limit but to call me at such a late hour and give me until 10:00 a.m. the next day is a little absurd.  I again stated that I have no problem paying the full amount off like I said I thought it was taken care of and there is really not difference between half and all by the next day.  If I can do by their time limit the whole thing will be paid.  
    She gave me a reference number and again I asked if they could resend the information that they stated they sent to me and again she said that they would not resend it out.  I went to the western union website and try to pay it and it would not let me so I called her at 9:33 a.m. and told her, she was not use to the internet and asked if I called the 800 number.  I said no I would like a paper trail showing that I paid it but I have no information from them.  I told her that the reference code she gave me was inaccurate and she verified it and she gave me the wrong code so she gave me another reference code and I tried that one and it didn’t work either while I had her on the phone.  I asked again if I could another day as it was coming close to the time limit and I am willing to pay the full amount.  She got irate with me and when I asked this is being recorded?  I then went on to say that I am willing and have been trying to pay this in their time limit and she continued to talk and said that I think I am being smart but I sound like an idiot while I kept talking and saying that I have requested the information and am willing to pay this and have been trying to and she continued to call me an idiot and said good luck and hung up.  This was today August 12, 2010 at 9:33 a.m.  
    I then put in the company name which they did not provide until I tried the western Union and she said it was H&P Capital.  I did some research and found this post and a few others as well.

    I got a call from dwayne saying I had 24 hrs to call him back,matter of fact 2 calls within a min.If i didnt call there would be incrimination circumstances to me.I couldnt hardlu understand what he was saying.I called his # and extension he didnt answer.

    I need to talk to **********.  I informed the caller that the field workers were not available by the office lines and if this was a personal matter to contact them at their home number.   He told me I am not prepared for what is about to happen.  This person has 30 minutes to call back. Good Luck.   Then I researched the number on Google.   This is very unethical collection practices from within the state of Florida and Florida has some pretty stringent rules on debt collection harrassment.   Callers name was Eric Ross and 2nd call today he left a number of 904--418-5000 x 145
