Same thing happened with me on my cell.  i saw the number and California came across so i picked it up and the recoridng about a car warranty came up.  i listened to message to press 1 and 2 but i didnt press anything cause i did not know who called.  i hung up and called back and the same recording said thank you for calling back...i hung up.  i am on the do not call list, i'm pretty sure. this does not happen a lot but occassionally sarastora florida calls--a recording from there.  this is the first time i got the car warranty thing it was kind of freaky cause i don't even have a car! this company/ person should be investigated

I called the number back.  I got a recording.  It said I gave permission to the company to call me with sales pitches because I signed up for a sweepstakes or filled out an on-line contest entry form.  So that's how they are getting around the Don't Call List.  It gave an option to be removed from the list - I pressed One!!!

This company needs to quit calling all the time. They have called me at home and on my cell. I press "2" to be removed from their dumb list and they still call. Somebody needs to find and answer as to how to stop this insane nagging from a company that no one wants to hear from anyway. If I wanted to talk to somebody as rude as they are I would call them, after all there is caller I.D. available now. PLEASE STOP calling me.

We got the same call yesterday...  ( also on the DNC list for several years ) Did a google search b4 calling the # back to make sure is was in the USA.    ( Don't need <no> $1000.00 phone call showing up on my phone bill.)  I called to find out jest what was going on and to tell them not to call again, then I got to thinking ( after i got their auto attendant) ... Jest like SPAM email, you respond back, then they have you. They know that is a active account/number. I'm sure ( IMHO )that is the case and once they register you as calling back WHAM. That number is in their database and slung from one end of the earth to the other. I'm thinking about taking a day and drive from pay phone to pay phone so they get those numbers registered.( Can one still find payphones ? )   I kinda miss messing with the telemarketers when they used to call <grin>

Second call within a week. complained on DO NOT CALL Website. Everyone should issue a complaint. If enough people complain hopefully the FTC will investigate

Just saw we had a call from  platino interpr. maybe I'll cough when they call back.   We are the do not call list too. Hate these people.   Do not even know were 909 is from?

I recvd call from these guys on 16 april. I do believe. I called wildgate at 310-8616100. Spoke to viviana. She gave me a ref number and said my number would be removed and calls should stop. She said this company is "telephone management" Wildgate is the exchange carrier I do believe and sells blocks of numbers. I got call about 1 hr ago from these guys again. I called wildgate again and reported. Spoke to Viviana.

call came in 7:15 pm on 5/4/09. I didn't answer, and they left no message. The caller ID read PLATINO INTERPR. I'm on the FEd. and OR do not call lists, and am going to file complaints, for what it's worth.

My retired mother keeps getting calls from these [***]. I've complained for her to the FCC and FTC. I called them back to chew them out, but its just a recording.

Recording says by calling them back (to complain and tell them to stop calling), I'm giving them and their partners permission to call me. That's total B.S.
