I get the warranty calls too! And I don't even have a car!!!

they just called me like about an hour and heard a cough then nothing so i hung up and i am on the do not call list to.i did file a complaint with the do not call list and hoping something gets done.

Remember to call the DONOTCALL list every 2 years.. It erases every 2 years.

I was upset as the call came in early saturday AM while my wife and son were sleeping and would not identify who or why they were calling.

Received call.  Went to voice mail and left NO message.

They have called twice now once today 05/09/09 at 10:06am and once yesterday. Each time it sounds like someone "coughs" then nothing. Called it back and after 2 minutes of an automated woman telling me very slowly what it was I called I gave up. Just avoid answering this one, there's no getting out of receiving the calls.

We had the phone off the hook this morning so we could get some rest.  When I checked for phone messages, there was a message left on our answering machine.  All I got was "press 2 to remove your number from our list."  
Every time they have called previously (about extending the warranty on our car, which warranty has long expired), I press #2 to be removed.  No luck.  
I have spoken with a live representative and told them we were on the Do Not Call list and to not call again.  They still continue to call!!!  Something needs to be done about this SCAM!!!!

I just got one of those calls too! I just do not answer calls I don't know. What a pain. Used to be only people you knew called you. Not now!

I heard children in the background then the call about the 2nd notice on my car's factory warranty.  I've received the same call probably 5 times, but this is the first one from phone number 909-691-9149.

I got a call from this number with a hangup. I posted this number on internet and was forwarded to this site.  I'm registered on the national do not call list.  I don't have a car or driver's license, nor do I know how to drive.
I got a long voice mail when I called back.  The conclusion of the message said I could be removed from their list by pressing 1.  I pressed 1 and was told to leave up to 10 days for the removal to take effect.  They never identified themselves, but said they were agents for various companies

I heard 1 dog bark, then silence.

It was a call saying that the warranty on my car is about to expire (my car is less than a year old).

The great Warranty Service Center stonewall - I can get more info from a teenager about plans for a Friday night. When I asked for a supervisor she told me he was in a meeting training more operators and could not be disturbed. When I asked for their phone number she told me she didn't have a direct line. When I asked for their address she told me they just moved into a new building this week (today is Monday) and she couldn't remember the building number. When I asked if "Warranty Service Center" was the name on her paycheck all I got was silence. What's sad is that there are enough gullible people out there buying whatever crap these crooks are selling to keep them calling my house. Enough already! FTC/FCC shut these guys down!

just got a call from 909-691-9149, did not recognize number so I didn't answer the phone.Who are these people and what are they soliciting?

I'm on the Do Not Call list. They shouldn't be calling me.

I am a receptionist and we recieved over 20 calls from the 909 # this is rediculous. Then I press 2 and it says no more calls. 2 minutes later there it is again. How they get away with this? I let one go through to a representative who said they were with Automotive Warranties, when I asked her more ?'s she hung up.
