Same thing.I got 4 text's from 91-097,they charged $9.99 per text.2 in same minute.twice

Yup!  Also got scammed by VoomMediaCorp when they offered "free" ringtones to replace the horrible Virgin ones.  

Replied "stop" to the number and was promised to be unsubscribed.

89147 is another number that is sending charges.  On the confirming TXT I received after sending a text saying "CANCEL," was their toll-free number.   It is 1-877-707-1775, but the message just says "we can't take your call right now; call back later."  This is really quite a scam.  If the charge isn't stopped, I will report to the BBB.  I was successful with a second one from another company where I'd requested some weather information; they removed the charge when I called and complained about the sneaky way they instituted the "service" and charge.

I replied with the word "Cancel" and was unsubscribed from "The Mind Quiz" Mobile quiz club.

I got one text from that number (saying something about the state of Georgia) and I immediately replied with the word stop (since that works with most text services).
I got a message back saying that I've been unsubscribed, and that there will be no more messages and no charges.
So yeah, just try texting the word stop.

try changing your number thats what i did.and send them a message that ur gonna find them and beat them up

i got the message as well.  i didnt get charged anything, yet.  what you all need to do is all start calling this number constantly 866-390-6184 and harass the crap out of them all day, scream profanity at them and call them the nastiest names you can think of.  it wont accomplish much but it will make you feel good.  i have their number on speed dial and whenever im bored YOU BET im going to call and harass them.

Did you folks notice that the very people who are ripping you off are advertising through google right next to your comments,.  Most mobile phone providers are well aware of these thieves. Call your Virgin Mobile and ask for a supervisor, they will take the charges off. While you are there raise Hell and demand a stop to this scam!!!!!

my little 12 year old sis got on the com and now i get txt from 91097 and i was charged 9.99 for this!! I get multiple text messages from this number, and don't know where they are coming from.  I would like them stopped. and i would like my 9.99 back
