They have called me and asked for my personal info multiple time and when asked "in what regards?" they say "personal/business matters" SPAM SPAM SPAM DO NOT RELEASE PERSONAL INFO.

I downloaded an app called Dead to Me on my cell phone... you can program it to automatically reject a number that calls you. So that might help!

got call from unknown caller on phone.they asked to push 1 for my son or 2,I pushed 1.Person got on phone wanted to know how I got them ? Told them they called me,wanted to know if was wife etc to my son.Told them no,they wanted to know why I pushed 1 ? told them it was my phone,I asked them what they wanted and what the phone number they were calling from.They said it was the number on my caller ID, there was none. told them I didn't have caller ID.They did give me a number 913-284-7569, they would not tell what it was about. told them if they wouldn't tell me ,my son wouldn't call them back.they said personal and started again at me about why I pushed 1.Told them it was my phone and I would push what i wanted.

that's not how the statute of limitations works on debts. have they secured a judgment against you? that changes things as well. Anyway, I just got a call from these guys and when I asked the name of the company he wouldn't tell me, saying I had to verify first. My JOB is to listen to and score debt collectors' calls to ensure they are following all applicable federal and state laws. So I told him "If I am asking you directly, which I am, you may tell me the name of your company before you have verified my identity". He told me I was wrong lol. I told him I'd look up his company myself and maybe call him back.

No it is not. They are practicing unfairly in the first place. Go ahead and provide his information so they may be contacted or at least reported ot the Attorney General's Office. When I returned their call, they sounded like  phishing operation to me. So long as they refuse to leave a msg, I will assume that is what they are.

Put me on hold after I said no.  Would not inform me of their business or reason for calling

This is Kansas Counsellors - a collection agency.  Shawnee Mission medical center uses them.  They call a lot and rarely leave a message.  They are extremely aggressive on the phone.

1-918-284-7568. they are scam collection agency trying to collect money that the hospitals could not get after they agreed to what medicaid and medicare paid them. and use this scam outfit trying to collect the difference medicaid didnt pay them. by law this is illegal.and they use account resolution services out of coral springs florida 800-694-3048.address of kansas counsellors is as follows 8725 rosehill road 415 lenexas kansas 66215.another phone number 913-541-9704. i will pay them a personal visit and give them a payback lol

Theres some fun to be had with a couple of the morons that work here. One guy I ran in circles with how to pay, how a craft card works, how I know that it worked, why he couldn't look at my credit card statement for me and tell me if it worked or not, then said I figured it out but didn't see that he paid me the money. Spent another 5 minutes learning that I hadn't won a contest from being in the hospital and that I owed money... But I have insurance so they must owe him money. Played totally dumb about how insurance works spent another 10 minutes on that routine then "ordered a pizza" and told him how much I missed him and he should visit since he hasn't visit since 1974.
The whole time I would occasionally mention my hospital visit for a traumatic brain injury and amazingly this guy kept his cool and wasnt rude at all. Maybe because at first I agreed to pay in full before giving him the run around and he thought enevtually we would get to the part of me giving him my credit card #.
He finally called me a [***] and hung up when I gave him my credit card number as 420 and that was it.

what types of debt do they collect on? I don't remember getting a letter from them.
