they called me few months ago, I told them to never call again. They called today,  well spoken woman said she was professional fund raiser for breast cancer group.  I told her not to call anymore, hung up.  Why do they keep calling me?

They asked for my credt card number. I knew it was a scam right then. I refused. She hung up before I could finish my address so they could mail me the information. SCAM!! So sad people would use cancer to steal from people. Karma is a [***]. What goes around, comes around.

Must be a scam of some kind. Caller ID says "West Harrison, NY". They never leave a message, nor do they say anything if answered..

THe phone rang four times, caller ID was West Harrison. No message. Called them back and was answered as Breast Cancer Research. Left them a message to take my number off their calling list.

This person appears to be a scammer.  They constantly call at all hours and leave no message.  Today a woman asked for someone by name--when I said that individual was not available and asked if I could take a message she rudely hung up.  No legitimate charity would ever allow this type of behavior or solicit your personal information out of the blue!

West Harrison NY came up on caller ID so I did not bother to pick up.
No message was left.

ACS is also a collection agency. Probably using a bogus charity as a way to reach the party they are looking for.

I receive calls from this # periodically.  Caller ID says West Harrison.  Thanks for the info from people who have posted on this.  I'll submit this to the NYS AG.  I'm sure it's just one more scam.

The caller ID on the home phone read Breast Cancer S.  No message.  Surprisingly they called my cell phone on the same day.  Rang once and hung up.  Thanks to the messages that everyone has written here, now I know it was also from the same caller.  How did they obtain both our home and cell phone numbers?

Who is this person calling me?

I was called from this number so far probably ten times or more in the past six months. She said her name was Amanda and collect money for children. In the past she was collecting money for cancer. I told her I was not interested and she keep insisting. Last night I let her talk for a few seconds and then I hang up.

The lady asked me to make a donation to those who can not afford treatment for breast cancer. I asked how much actually went to the charity and she stated that she was happy that I asked. She then went on to proudly boast a meager 15 percent goes to the charity and 85 percent goes to administrative cost.  These people who are so desperately in need only receive 15 cents of each dollar while these annoying call centers and "administrators" pocket the rest.  Donate to legitimate charities and those in your community. I choose to help people in my own family.

Tired of this number calling my home very annoying I'm reporting 914-368-2554. Harassment.

They (she) called and asked for me.  I said "yes," and she hung up.

She asked for "Gail" -I asked who's calling she started her spiel and I hung up.  I am so annoyed by these people.  If I wanted to contribute to a charity, I would - without prompting.

Scam artists-   claiming to raise money to help breast cancer. Very pushy- won't take no for an answer.  My advice-   hang up on them or don't pick up the phone.

Charitable organizations are not bound by the "do not call" list.

I am constantly receiving calls from 914-368-2554 I do Not answer and they do not leave a message. I have registered my phone number to "NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and you all can too  just call this number (888-382-1222).
These telemarkers are so very  annoying and bothersome. It should be illlegal to harrass people via the phone
