914-368-2554 just called my home claiming to be collecting funds for Breast Cancer...they were pushy & rude and when I asked a question about their organization.....they hung up. if you try and call back it is impossible to get though to anyone. This is a scam.

These calls are scams. The woman yells at you. She asked for me by name, and was very rude when I told her that I give directly. After she yelled at me I did something I would never ever do. I cursed at her, and told her if she ever called my number again I would have the NYS Attny.Generel on her behind so fast she won't know what happened. Then I just hung up.

I just received a call from stated above number at 7:30 pm. I allowed my answering machine to do all the talking. No one replied.

I too got a call from these people at 8:23 AM, this morning...I cut off the motor mouth woman and reminded her of the early hour of her call and to never call again.
They never give up.

They won't stop calling, they have called me every few months for 2 years now. I have asked nice for them to stop, they refuse, say they are allowed to since they are  a charity,  and claim to be exempt from Do Not Call List (Do not call list is a joke anyway)

Woman called this morning, asked for my husband by first name.  I asked who's calling, she stuttered.  Handed the phone to my husband and he gave her the pat answer "I do not accept telephone solicitations" and hung up.  end of story, no chitchat.

These calls are scams.  When I, a breast cancer survivor asked her how I can sign up for her services she hung up.  SO THERE!

Caller asked for the "lady of the house". The lunatic telemarketers are at it again...Not a moment's peace at home...It should be illegal to harass people in their homes non-stop.

1:21 pm  caller id west harrison ny - let machine answer, no message.  i guess these people have quite the long-term program.  i wonder if Breast Cancer Organization knows about their tactics.

THANK YOU for saying that!  Wise up people! These are SCAM calls. ALL of them! Quit sitting around wondering or feeling badly. Hundreds of calls every year from all numbers from all over the country. Spoofed ID's, spoofed numbers...not to mention ignorant foreigners trying to sell drugs. There are still people wondering or thinking they're legit??? Paaaleeeese  Don't answer. Just let the phone ring and ring in their ignorant criminal ears!

You wonder why telemarketers never quit? They make MILLIONS scamming fools who think "Breast Cancer Society" means "legit." And it does not.

This #:914:368-2554 caller I'd says breast cancer society.  Imake my answering machine answer.
And caller says hello it's Lisa and hangs up.  

Someone from this number called about 3 times.  I answered it at 8:20 last night.  They wanted a donation for Breast Cancer.  She then said they take credit card donations and he told her that he would donate ONLY if he received a notification by mail (as the other companies do).  She put him on hold and in the course of waiting, he hung up (feeling something wasn't right).  The phone rang again and it was the same person.  Again he hung up.  This morning (9/30) at 8:10 a.m. she called again & asked for my husband.  When I told her he was not here, she said NO MESSAGE and hung up.  I then called the 914-368-2554 # (you cannot speak with anyone).  I was able to leave a message and told them that we are on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER LIST and if they call one more time, I will turn in the number.  In trying to find out who this number belongs to, I found this and decided it best to report anyways.  I hope these people can be found and stopped.  

it's apparently a real charity the breast cancer society?  They are somewhat pushy.  I said I would not donate over the phone and she said no problem they were sending me the paperwork, which I am still awaiting...  I'm going to be looking further into this but here's the website http://www.breastcancersociety.org/ and apparently if you call the number that comes up it brings you to a recording that describes the charity/organization, however credible that is.

When the call came in, there was no response at first, and I said to them, 'police department, how may I direct your call?' The woman had asked for someone in the house by name and said "I'm sorry, we'll update our records that this is a business."
Maybe if more people answered anonymous calls that way, these telemarketers might eventually stop calling.
