They call twice a day.  Never say anything when I answer.  When I don't answer, they don't leave a message.

We get calls every single day, sometimes several times a day from this number: 917-210-4615.I will try to file a complaint but this is just one more thing to deal with.

As with everyone else, they call and never leave a message.  How can we get them to stop? Call comes in as "Out of Area" with the following number...912-210-4615

I called the number back and it says it is the american lung association and they have a menu so that you can remove your number.

Some phones have a call block function that works with caller ID.  They work by checking the caller ID number against a list stored in the phone and if the caller ID number matches a number stored in the block list the phone returns a busy signal to the caller.  This is an effective way to block repetitive calls from the same number without paying a fee.

They have called almost daily for the last month or two. Despite what others have said, I do NOT think this is the American Lung Association. I have received calls from them before and their company name shows up in the Caller ID information every time they call, this number has no name listed when it comes up.

They normally get Callwave, but we have picked up the phone multiple times and had hangups, so we *69 and get the number. I have filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry about this number.

I called 917-210-4615 pressed 1 then 3 to remove my # from their calling list. Automated message stated that my # will be removed in the next couple of days..We'll see

I called them and they say American Lung Association - we will call you in a few days... I mean only in CAPITALISM this fraud is allowed. WTF is attorney general doing?

They call me multiple times every day - never leave a message.  Today, I answered and some woman wanted to send me flyers for ME to mail to others.  Don't know if it's a scam or what.  Seems like if you have info to send, it would be a lot cheaper to just mail it than to have someone dial my number (& obviously many others) all day long, every day.

I called back and got a recording saying I could be removed from their list - but it would take 30 days.  We'll see.

Sure feels odd for a "legit" organization to solicit others to do their mailings.

Calls 4-5 times a day for past few weeks. No msg on answering machine. Suspect hoax as this is not the number on legitimate American Lung "Association" web site.

Receiving calls daily from 917-210-4615 claiming to be the American Lung Assocoation wanting me to send out flyers to my neighbors and I would be responsible for the postage on these flyers. This is getting to be extremely annoying and it needs to be stopped. Who are these people and what exactly do they want? The caller is always a female. Sometimes caller ID shows American Lung Association and sometimes it shows Unknown Name, but always the same number.

THEY HAVE CALLED ALMOST EVERY DAY FOR 2 WEEKS, I JUST DON'T AND WILL NOT ANSWER ANY SOLICITATONS. I WILL REPORT THIS TO THE US JUSTICE DEPT. THESE IDIOTS MAKE IT HARD FOR THE HONEST ORGINATIONS THAT ARE DOING GOOD FOR THE PEOPLE THAT REALLY NEED HELP.  THANKS FOR YOUR INFORMATION. PLEASE EVERYONE REPORT THEM AND PUT A STOP TO THESE SCAMMERS....

Even after I reported them to the National Registry on the "Do Not Call" list, they won't stop calling and harassing us.

This is ridiculous.  This should be outlawed, and no one seems to be having any success in getting their stupid automated solitication calls to stop.

We have to turn the phone off, as we don't get any rest from their damn calls.  They need to stop programming their damn computers to generate automated calls.  So many people have reported them, and it doesn't stop.  It is relentless.

Comes up as American Lung.  I have a machine that intercepts calls that I can enter either by area code or number so my phone does not ring, the only way I know they are calling is that they come up on my directv screen on my tv!!

This call is indeed from the Lung Association.  I answered it one day, they identified themselves and because they are a charity, they are permitted to call.  I asked them to remove my # from their list, which they did.  Actually they were very nice about it and apologised.  I haven't gotten a call since.
