I received message on 9/7/2016 ( 9th july, 2016 ) at 2.00 pm. It's as follows :
"Your SBI Debit Card ending with .........XXXX is deactivated only for Internet txn. To activate send SMS 'SWON ECOM 1614' to 0922396666. No change for ATM/POS usage"

The thing is , the last 4 numbers (.........XXXX) of my debit card matches with the number mentioned in the received message. How the hell did they get access to these information ???? People, complain to the bank officials and police regarding this.... So that they can take action regarding those fraudsters........

as per sbi customer service if you have not used card for e-commerce since last 1 year, it is  blocked for internet usage.
you may also confirm same from 1800112211.

i received a msg from sbi that my sbi debit card no. ....xxxx has been deactivated ....

Today i recieved  message  from DZ-SCISMS stating that my debit card has been deactivated. I check with my internet shopping if this message is fraud or not and made transaction using my debit card and it was successful.So, if you recieved this same type of message, i suggest you not to reply to the phone no.given nor do to activate: your debit card is not at all deactivated.

How the hell did they get access to these information , As per Lalthianghlima above the online transaction was successful.So really do not know what is it. But there is definitely something fishy about the whole affair.  The girl who called to inform that ny debit card would be deactivated also did not sound too qualified or knowledgeable to talk on the phone. Seems like a fraud. please complain to the bank officials and police regarding this.... So that they can take action regarding those fraudsters......
