i received two mess. back to back the first says a yahoo user is trying to send you a text when it arrives select reply to continue the conversation, second one says xxshippyxx here is ur $500 walmart gift card for AL, an dthen gives a partial web address.NOT SURE WHAT TO DO!

I received the exact same message about a $500 gift card from SQL art in AL.  These ppl are idiots.

Got a text from this number 924-665-01 that said I had a "present"...says bit.ly/r4nVIL?758 in part of the text. HOW do we stop this kind of thing???

Wow....The name tag on my encounter was "autumnhardee" and it said: "Here is your $750 Walmart gift card for AL, http:/bit.ly/napaWQ?422"  A second SCAM message said that a Yahoo user was trying to contact me and that I just needed to hit reply.  I suspect if I hit reply I would have gotten a bill for something crazy or a virus downloaded to my phone or my phone would have been cloned or............................

DO NOT call this number!! it's a scam that can charge you up too $100 a minute on your phone bill  it was on the news a couple of days ago.

Yesterday at noon I got two texts, one from 92466501 saying "kodg123: AZ people get a $750 Wal-mart card See http://bit.ly/nTbUBj?297" and one from 92466601 saying " A Yahoo! user is trying to send you a text message. When it arrives, select 'Reply' to continue the conversation. For more info, visit, mobile.yahoo.com". I obviously didn't respond in any way.

This JUST happened to me! EXACT money and all.  Can I contact you?

I just got a text from this number with a link to go to http://bit.ly/p1cbXi?244 I didn't go to the link

I just got two text messages, the first from 924-660-00 telling me a yahoo user is trying to text me and to hit reply.  the second message was from 924-665-01 with a username brown_luthon and a url http:\\bit.ly\oM3UZT?226.  I didn't go to the url, but i did reply to the text asking who it was.  I haven't gotten any more messages, I hope they'll just give up.

Unbelievable! This website had a scam pop up "$1000 Walmart Gift card"!
THIS IS A SCAM according to my local Burnaby, Canada Walmart Store.

I found 632 results -back to 2008- on Google referring to text messages from "Walmart" re $100 - $1000 variations on gift card.

Now they do POP UPS on this scam report website.  How annoying!

Is that steph_baby_girl@ymail.com a fraud then? I actually am going through the same thing  for a pair of bull terrier puppies. they said theyre a couple called Steph and Clinton and will send me the information to ship the puppies to me from New Mexico. Should I trust it?

I got a text from this number with just a link to a photo and his screen name. mrdericj I didn't look at the link so I've no idea what it is, but from this message board, I don't want to know what it is.
