I have my number on do not call list yet they keep calling...is it true they can be fined or have to pay me??

5-10-2010 First time I saw this number. Called twice today. Let go to the answer machine. Hang up.
Could get annoying!

Next time I see this caller I.D. I will answer "POLICE DEPT"...that usually works for telemarketers and pollsters....ahahah

I am on the do not disturb list, so if this persist then I will press charges!

There was a pause after I said hello, which told me that it was an automated telemarketing system.  The person on the other end asked for a family member by name.  I replied that he was not available and offered to take a message.  She said that she would just call back later, and then hung up.

They called and my answering machine kicked in.  Whoever it was listened to the message then a male voice asked for me BY NAME.  My husbands name is in the phone book, not mine.  I have no idea where they got my name or what they want.  Spooky if this is a telemarketer.

Added it to my blocked call list!

PLEASE... do not kick the poor dog.... I hope that was just a metaphor for kicking some humans ass.  These types of calls are best left to go to the answering machine. Certainly not worth getting worked up over.  Their "idiot calls"...just don't respond. Wait and look up the number and see whether or not you want to take any action. :o) ~..~  ^..^

My mother has been receiving calls from this number  , 1-928-268 -3060 also … 1-928-283-0602 and
1-801-823-2030 . I understand they are asking personal questions about me . They claim to be from a bank called ( Banco Popular ) . My mother is located in Puerto Rico , I live in Ohio and these numbers are from Arizona and Utah ? I do not have an account with this bank . I also have a name from these people … ( Mayeli Lopez ). I will contact this bank and let them know about this .

Wondering why these guys are constantly calling and leaving rude messages like, "what the hell" when I'm not even home? And from that I wanted to pursue to companies superiors wtf is happening but I couldn't due to a non reachable number

Just got a call from the AZ number, person gives a name and he's doing a poll asks ir the male of the household is available, I said no, he said, not home yet?  replied no and suggested they jdo not call back, he said ok  928-268-3060

It's a poll people, it's not molestation.  I love all the people that [***] brix and yammer about what they're gonna do to people that call them but they wouldn't say 'boo' to a bird in real life.

Just say what you know about the call, if anything, and leave the extra drama for your hairdressers.

This number keeps calling my house and no one ever answers the calls are after 9pm.

Got a call from this number ~ 6:30 pm yesterday. Female voice said something about a survey. I told her I don't use cell minutes for this and demanded she remove my number from her call list.

Just got a call from this # ...as soon as I ans it they hung up...

I know what you mean. I put myself and other family members number into the do-not call list and still receive calls. I also noticed that on the do-not call website, people can call for things like elections, donations, etc. Which is bull crap, if we put our numbers in the do-not call regirstry than we shouldn't get any stupid calls from people we do  not know. Right! I cuss, yell (pretending that I cannot hear them etc).. Or just do not answer the phone, which is sometimes hard to do when my husband answers the phone and we do have caller id. THis is just not right.

Called me and didn't seem to understand that they were talking to my answering machine.  They repeatedly asked for me by my name.

I just received a call from this number, they claim they are from Staples, Inc. the office supplies store. Asked for me by my name, I never gave my number to Staples. And Staples claimed they do not give telemarketers or anyone our personal information such as our number and name, so I don't know how these people got it.
