someone called from this number and did not answer this type of thing is getting real annoying

I answered because I am SO tired of these idiots ringing my bell! Said it was "Opionology" - I said this number is on the Do Not Call list... take me out of your database and do not call again.. the next call will receive an ugly sound (some phones have a whistle nearby - some have a can full of coins ;)

On caller id today--March 9th 2011

Received call 6 pm but no message. Recently someone hacked my Gmail account and sent 2,000 "Important for your future" messages.  Could these incidents be related?

You're right!  Most of these ARE telemarketers, who they create either a false prepaid cell phone number which they use only 1 or 2 days, then change to avoid detection.  This actually happened to me at least 15 times in Feb. 2010 (yes, I wrote down #s & times of the calls!), looked them up & found they were within just blocks of each other but the number inactivated the next day, so they could still LEGALLY call but get around the law.  I told the FCC, they agreed it IS harassment--but because of the way of doing it, their hands were tied.
These people are the kind that make the current law a joke; "Do Not Call List" needs to be changed so people calling MUST show their REAL name and number (& a callback number).
Now if I see even a number but don't recognize it, I won't answer!

Someone called and had Dick Morris voice on talking about what Obama may do and they need money to stop him.  So i gave a donation with my credit card number because it sounded real. Then slept on it and realized i gave them my credit card # which i should have never done.

This # keeps calling and driving me crazy! In fact they just called as I was typing this..lol! I answered and no one says anything at all. Anyone know who is calling from this #? Id ..says Flagstaff, AZ

multiple calls from this number all day and night, will not take us off their calling list even though I informed them that we are on the DO NOT CALL list

i am tired of this kind of call from this number. no message left and I understyand it is from the guys on  a kind of survey I do not understand.

i recently had someone hack my yahoo acct,,,but yahoo fixed it,,,ya can never be too careful,,,

Financial survey. Two days in a row. Told them again I don't do survey's! If they call again the whistle is all they'll get.

they called 10-29-11 around 5:00 . It rang twice and they never answered.

I'm getting the same call over the last couple of weeks.  This morning I called the number from work and there was a voicemail message with someone calling herself Juanita.  I'm going to try again later to see if there's an answer.

I did a google search on the area code and it showed as Flagstaff.  Of course I have some friends from there, but it's not a match to any of the numbers for them.

If any of you ever get numbers you don't recognize and they leave no message and curiosity gets the better of you, don't call them from the same phone.  Call from another phone.
