    Tracced this number back to Computer Associates. They are a company that provides computer software specifically Antivirus. They actually automatically renew the subscription to their software products at the end of the year (starting from when you purchased the software - antivirus probably online). Basically automatic re-billing/renewing your software license for another year.
    I called their customer service and they very politely refunded my money.

    This is a charge for computer from computer associates for virus protection. Unless you so specify they will charge your credit card automatically before it expires and this is why you see that charge. I kind of like it as I dont have to renew each year some other way. They are a great company.

    I paid for 3 years of Trend Micro-PCcillen service and yet they charged me for $44.95. Called and they corrected the problem right away.

    I received a payment from this too .. it was Trend Anti virus.  Just call them and be nice.  They will give you a refund no problem.  They were very helpful.

    Just called the number as I had the $44.95 charge on my account from some anti-virus software that I purchased back in college. They refunded my card and also cancelled the automatic renewal for me as well. The call took no more than 5 minutes from beginning to end. My call was answered my customer service after 2 rings and I was promptly assisted. So if you have an unknown charge I recommend calling the number (I call around 8:45 a.m. EST) and asking them to refund your account.

    The phone number is actually for Digital River, a credit card clearing house that handles online business for Norton/Symantec, TrendMicro, Microsoft, and many other large companies.

    The VISA database is in error about the website, and as of this date, refuses to correct their error.  The Digital River contact is at  www.myord.com, it is NOT www.myorg.com.

    Once these companies have your card number, they will automatically bill you without asking for permission to do so.  You need to complain to your bank and your state attorneys general about it.

    I called back and got a billing company, turns out it was a company Norton uses.  I used their free trial and they still charged my card when the trial was over.  You have to sit on hold for a long time but you eventually get to the right person and they refund your money.
