We also had repairs done at Midas recently.  They need to understand that this type of thing is bad for business.  This was our first time to go to Midas, and will probably be our last...not just because of this call, but also because our car started making a new noise after they "repaired" it.

I used Midas a couple weeks ago...they tried to rip me off, maybe I'll answer next time.

Got a call from this number today. Googled it and found this blog. Been to Midas twice in the last few weeks. Good investigating AKS! How did you figure it out?

Missed a phone call from this # on 12/19/07 at 9:31am...googled it to find out who it is and found this site.

They called me and since I do not pick up unknown numbers - they went to VM, but did not leave a message. I have never been to MIDAS in my life, so they could not be calling me about their service, etc., and I highly doubt that it actually is MIDAS......Someone must be realllly bored!!!!

Just a customer survey...for those who had mechanical work done at Midas. No big deal and No Call List does not apply to this type of call.

Also had work done from Midas last week. They have called my cell twice and I did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail.

yep, it was Midas calling to see check on our recent service.

i was getting these calls too, as late as 830pm. Thanks to whomever figured out it was midas, I just recently used them, right after christmas.

I received a call from this same number and when i called back it was automated w/ no chance of speaking w/ anyone. I also went to midas 2 weeks ago for service.

Had a missed call from this same # tonight around 7:45 pm
I used midas about 10 days ago...

I'm so glad I found this blog- I got this call at 9AM and I do not give out my cell phone to most people. I really wanted to know who would call me and not leave a message. I did use Midas about 12 days ago and they are my favorite garage around here, but this calling thing is completely inappropriate.

Have called me twice now on my cell phone...once on Wed 1/16/08 at 1:33PM and another time on 1/17/08 at 11:42AM.  Neither time I answered.  No message left.  My cell is on the state & national do not call lists.

Went to Midas last week in Mississauga, ON Canada. Rec. the call 9:54AM, didn't leave a message.

it is midas. if they are going to call people about customer service they should at least be there when they call. phone rings, you answer, no one there.  THATS bad customer service! next oil change will be at jiffy lube ;)
