We get calls from this number daily and they hang up and if our machine picks up they hang up too!  It says Active Periodic on my phone.  I called it back as they call early here in Calif. and got a recording and it said HOW to get off their list.  This was 3 days ago and I'm still getting calls.  I reported it to the Nat. do not call list too!

We got a call from this number they asked for my husband and when I said he's not home can I take a messege they said no and hung up. Tried calling back and got a messege tht they were busy leave a messege. If they can't then neither can I. Next call I get from them I will turn them into the Attoreny General maybe then something will gat done!!!!!!!!!!

They've called me 3 times today. twice I answered and they hung up after I said hello.

I got several hang-up calls from this number.  Tried to call back but it repeatedly went to voicemail or some kind of fax machine ring.  It seems this number is from "ACTIVE PERIODICALS". The reverse phone directory indicated this number is located in Deerfield Beach, FL 33442 (Broward County), and it's Carrier Details: Paetec Communications, Inc.-FL.

They called me twice and I didnt pick up since I didnt recognize the number. The third time they called I answered the call and they told me I had won a $1000 online shopping spree (yeah right!). But when I kept asking them questions about the shopping spree they couldnt tell me anything other than it was a $1000 online shopping spree. Then they proceeded to tell me all I had to do was pay for like 3 or 4 magazine subscriptions. After I tried to ask the person if it was real or not, they just transferred me to their supervisor.

Once I told the supervisor I didnt want to buy she got really rude and pushy and hung up on me before I could call her a [***] (lol). If they call m phone again they will surely get a piece of mind.

I have received several calls a day for the past 2 weeks from this number. Voice identifies their phone # and says it's a telemarketing call. I called back the number and left several messages asking to be removed from their list but they continued calling. Today I did a little research and found that the number belongs to Active Periodicals, a magazine subscription telemarketing company. I googled the company and found they are based in Deerfield Beach, FL. Here is the info: Active Periodicals, Inc (954) 570-7700 450 Sw 12th Ave, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442-3108 I called them directly and spoke with a receiptionist named Lana who said she'd remove me from the list. Also, the new owners name is Donald. I will continue to call that number every time they call me. Do the same. Give them a taste of their own medicine. 954-671-6946 I get phone calls regularly form this number. I never pick up the phone if I don't know the number and they never leave a message.

What's going on with this company? You called me when I pick up the phone then you hang up!!! I don't know who you are and why you still bothering me??

I called 954-671-6946 number and left a message requesting they remove me from their call list.  I am anticipating this will take care of it and I will not be bothered any further.

I just recieved my 8th in two days from this number. I run a child care and do not answer numbers i dont recognize during the day as I really dont have time for nonsense.  I finally called it back when the kids went down, and got a voice mail for Active Periodicals.  Their voice mail instructed me to leave my number if I wanted the calls to stop. I have no idea how they get away with calling as my number is, and has been on the DO NOT CALL list and they still do it.

This number has called me over 10 times in the past week on my cell phone.  I don't answer though.  This is part of an onslaught of random calls I have been getting from numbers similar to this in the past two weeks.  Started getting text messages from email addresses with bank names a few months ago as well.  My credit card was recently 'compromised' in the Heartland security breach and I think all these calls have something to do with this. I keep my cell phone number very private.  I'm wondering if anyone else getting these calls was also part of the recent breach of security with their bank or if it is just a coincidence...?

They call me several times a day and most of the time no one ever answers.  If I'm in the mood to stay on the line saying "hello, hello, hello" for two minutes or so, a weird rude old lady comes on the line and asks for "my first name, my last name" in the most sniveling voice I've ever heard.  My number is unlisted so I don't acknowledge my name unless I recognize the caller so she just keeps asking and eventually gets mad and hangs up.  Today I just ignored her question and asked "why does it take you so long to answer when you are the one who calls me?" And she said it was because they use an automatic dialer.  I told her to stop calling me and she lied and said she has never spoken to me or called me before.  According to whitepages.com the number belongs to Paetec Communications in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
