I receive calls from these jerks day and night....usually when I'm trying to work or sleeping. All I can say is the calls started after I ordered then canceled a free trial of "Acay Berries", touted as a weight controlling agent. After cancellation, they probably sold our information to a number of aggressive telemarketers for a price. One of those was Active Periodicals, who are prepared for backlash with one-way numbers and message machines. I had no dealings with them before and they got my cell number from somewhere. I would like to see the owners brought to light, and find out who they are connected with in the state government, because they seem to operate like the mob and with impunity.

I've been getting about 3-4 calls a week. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. It's getting annoying.

i get calls from these people usually every couple of weeks. they tell me i win all this great stuff and once i tell them i am not interested they hang up!

when i answered no one would speak. i had 3 calls yesterday and 1 today.

The same # calls me at least once a day but usually twice.It has been a few days since they first started calling. I have never answered and they never leave a message.

I recieved a call twice today both at early hrs of the morning, when I try to answer its a call ended tone. I have no clue as to who it would be and I havent given my number out to anything new recently, but I also keep getting these free cruise vouchers from ramada inn fort lauderdale, which is heard to be a scam... anyone gotten any of those?

They have called me twice today, I called the number back and left a message to be taken off their call list. They called the 2nd time a hour later.

I started receiving calls from this number this week.  I never pick up the phone and they do not leave a message.  Sounds like a scam.

these motherbuckers keep calling my damn phone and im about to cuss them out. they dont know when to stop it seems. reading all ur comments tells me alot about these guys. thanks all

This number has called fourteen times, and I didn't answer because I didn't know the number but they won't stop calling a left a silent message.

I have received several calls a day for the past 2 weeks from this number. Voice identifies their phone # and says it's a telemarketing call. I called back the number and left several messages asking to be removed from their list but they continued calling. Today I did a little research and found that the number belongs to Active Periodicals, a magazine subscription telemarketing company. I googled the company and found they are based in Deerfield Beach, FL. Here is the info:

I called them directly and spoke with a receiptionist named Lana who said she'd remove me from the list.  Also, the new owners name is Donald. I will continue to call that number every time they call me.  Do the same. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

I recieved a call all week and I was told I won a 1000.00 dollar shopping spree.. so how do I start using it? Wheres the credit card number?

I trace these harassing phone calls to a television advertisement I answered on 18 February 2009 for The Slim Clip money clip. http://www.slimclip.com/  I didn’t know about their web site at the time.  I placed my Slim Clip order by calling, from my landline phone line, the number from the television commercial.  I had never ordered a product by calling one of these numbers and it was a frustrating experience.  I was unable to speak with a real person at any time and their voice menu system kept trying to get me to buy more items before they’d complete my order.   When their voice menu system finally said that they had placed the order it did not confirm how many items would be shipped or what the total cost would be.  It did however, give me their Customer Service number, 866-305-1361, which I promptly called to clarify what I had ordered and what the total cost would be but I was unable to reach anyone.
    I received my Slim Clip order on 3 March 2009 for double the amount of what I had ordered.  I called Slim Clip Customer Service at 866-305-1351 to tell them how displeased I was with their service.  They said all they could do was credit $10 back to my credit card which they did as “ONT*SLIM CLIP” on 5 March 2009.  They said I could send back the product I didn’t order but that I’d still have to pay the exorbitant shipping and handling charges on each item.  I told them that I thought they had ripped my off, that their voice menu system was misleading, and I was thinking of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.  I had called from my cell phone and did not put the *67 to block Caller ID delivery in front of the number.  Later I found out from my cell phone company that your caller ID information is always delivered along with the call and it’s up to the call recipient’s Caller ID box to strip your caller ID information from the call.  If the call recipient has modified their Caller ID box they can have it ignore the *67 Caller ID block.
    On 9 March 2009 I started getting several calls from 866-379-2003. I was curious about these calls I had missed so I dialed *67-866-379-2003 to block my Caller ID information in my return call to the number.  A woman answered, thanked me for returning the call and went into a sales pitch which included some free gasoline coupons.   I didn’t give her any information and thought the *67 had blocked my caller ID information.  When she asked if I still resided at my Columbia, Maryland address I hung up.  Almost immediately after hanging up I received a call from 866-379-2003 which I did not answer.  I continued to be harassed by calls from 866-379-2003 at 4:35PM, 5:59 PM, 7:53 PM, and the next day (10 March 2009) at 1:26 PM, and 4:44 PM.  I called my cell phone service provider about these harassing phone calls.  At 4:54 PM they blocked 866-379-2003 from calling my cell phone for 90 days. The block is free of charge and you can reinstate the block if you continue to be harassed after the block expires.
    Although the call block has stopped 866-379-2003 from calling me I started receiving calls on 13 March 2009 from 954-671-6946 at 12:15 PM and from 909-650-9173 at 12:15 PM.  At 2:26 PM, without checking the Caller ID on my cell phone I inadvertently answered a call from 954-671-6946.  A female caller asked for someone with a name similar to my first name.  I answered that there was no one here by that name and hung up.  Then I realized the name the caller had asked for was the same as an incorrect spelling of my first name that had come on the shipping invoice from Slim Clip.
    I received another call from 909-650-9173 at 10:29 AM on 14 March 2009.  I called my cell phone service provider and got both 909-650-9173 and 954-671-6946 added to my block numbers list for 90 days.
    I attribute these harassing calls to Slim Clip.  Here’s what information I have on the Slim Clip Company.

I got a call from this number today as well (03-16-09) I accidentally picked up and answered. It was a lady saying I won a $1000 online shopping spree... and they want to ask me several questions. So, I hang up. Then they called me again several times for next few days. I have "sprint" phone.

my wife has gotten at least 8 calls from this number(954 671 6946).  they won't stop calling.  the last time they called, we finally got a person and they tried to sell my wife some magazines.  i don't think the call has anything to do with magazines.

I got a call from 954-671-6946 today 03/18/09. When I answered they hung up.

I have been getting several calls on my cell phone from this number a day, you guys should publish the information and address for this number.

I have been called for the past 3 weeks on a daily basis i answer everytime and no one is ever there i hope i get them on the phone one day ill lose my mind on them.
