I am on the do not call register.  Phone call 8:30 a.m. from female caller.  Asked for me by correct first name.  I responded in the affirmative.  Silence on caller's part for approximately 45 seconds and then hung up.

i think charity and political organizations are exempt from "do not call" list.   This number must have registered under charity?  i don't know why they call and don't state their business.   i saw this telephone number on caller ID and searched the number, but i never answer..

I tried to get off list..they want your #..but also email addy..hell noooooo  they aint getting that

I just got this and didn't pick up. The machine answered and the person said "hello is ___ there?" Obviously not realizing it was a machine. And not using the name of anyone that actually lives here.

This sounds like a phishing attempt. Just trying to gather info on you or something.

A no of 9798 keeps calling---no area code--no prefix--just 9798---i have stopped answering, but i did not have my gasses on and i did answer---some foreign #####  said my computer had been hacked.   I talked ugly to him and told him not to call back.  I hate scammers.  What do i do????
