Call showed up as "anonymous" on my landline. I didn't answer, and the caller didn't leave a message. I tried calling the number, and it was reported as "no longer in service." Scam!

Have gotten many calls from this number.  ID says anonymous.  I don't answer.  Frustrating to keep getting so many calls.

This number calls almost every day but never leaves a message. Caller ID identifies "Anonymous" caller from this number.

Fake charity scamming POS !

Think I was just scammed.  I foolishly answered yes when she asked if I was (my name).  I knew I shouldn't say  yes in calls like this, but she had called earlier when I wasn't here and told my wife she would call back later as they were calling about my insurance (which I had just used, incidentally) .  This was a follow-up with the same story they had given my wife and I recognized the number, so I thought there could have been some problem when I used the insurance recently.  I had looked the number up after the first call and found it had scam reports, and asked her why that would be.  She seemed surprised, but asked if we could proceed about the insurance, so I said o.k.  Then she soon said something like, "just a minute," and after about 5 seconds of just background noise like she was looking for some papers, she hung up.  That told me I had been scammed.
