got call from this # today and yesterday too - didn't know it - didn't answer it. Glad I didn't!

Why can't they put an option on cell phones not to receive calls from a certain number? Like they do with spam emails

If I get just one more phone call like this I'm calling Alltel to let them know it needs to stop and if they ever dare sell my number i will leave my contract.

I answered the call and it was a recording saying that my car warranty had expired and I needed to get renewed.

i should point out that this call was at my work phone--not on my cell phone--in case people are falsely thinking it's a verizon/alltel thing.

Ok if it's not just an alltel/Verizon thing is there a way to block numbers from calling your cell phone?

SPAM SPAM SPAM.  Ignore the call....the poor woman listed to the number has nothing to do with this.

Apparently when googled, the number comes up belonging to Jennifer M. Gasparino in New Jersey...

Got the same call. Once today, once yesterday. Over the last several weeks, I've gotten more and more of these on my cellphone. Last week it was a Toronto number, now a Newark number. Since I live in New Jersey, I answered the call.

received a call on my business cell phone today at 10:52am EST.  plan is through nextel/sprint.  
Seriously - who's brilliant idea was it to market to people in this fashion?  I cannot imagine that they are doing good business.  What could possibly be the alternative task going on here?

This number comes up on the display at work on a couple of my boss's lines.  Every time I answer a recording (?) comes on in SPANISH!

Got a call from this number and got a lady one the phone who I informed I would be contacting my lawyer and she could pay the minutes on cell phone. She said she would remove my number. Called back and number was disconnected.

I got a call yesterday at 3:17p and another just now from this number. I didn't answer it both times because I didn't recognize it, and no message was left. If it's spam/telemarketing, it needs to be stopped!

I have been getting calls from this number for several months now and it is really quite annoying.

I have recieved a call from this number on my cell (at&t) and on my home phone (verizon). I answered it on my cell. They told me why they were calling. I told them that I have an '84 Honda Civic and that I have never had a warranty. Then they asked if I wanted one! STUPID. This thing a piece. I then proceded to ask them to take me off their list. She hung up on me. About a month later, not kidding you, they sent me a card in the mail!! Boy are the desperate! Get a real job like us and leave us alone!!!!

Got call from this number on my cell phone. Did not pick it up. No message left. I am in MA, Boston.

said this is the second call regarding your vehicle warranty and it is the second time in a month. I wish they wouldn't waste my minutes.
