I have been getting these calls for months from various numbers either very early or after 9pm.. after me yanking there chain quite a few times they just don't say anything now. Unfortunately for them i am a Microsoft Specialist Advanced and used to work as a skip tracer i have found that these calls are coming from Bhutan. I am really feeling like this place... http://benprise.ning.com/profiles/blogs/ites-bpo-at-bhutan is the culprit..note of interest the discussions tab in regards to US call centers. they loaned out a overseas number to a company that is US. If you put the number into this website it says they are located in South Carolina. http://www.checkpeople.com/landing/lp_rp1a/results . i guess they got some buyers. That is the best i can do hope someone can get farther i need to get to bed.

as i said i was tired but then i found this site http://countrycode.org/bhutan read the right side of the page. It appears they are offering you a US number.. weirdo people.. i just want to sleep without you waking my kid!

Called tonight at 10:41pm. Answered and then hung up after several seconds. So sick of these calls!!!!

This caller is calling after 10:00pm.  Who is it

Have called 3 times one time at 9 pm 10 pm and 11 pm waking my whole family they said they were from Microsoft and there was a problem with our computer

Piece of crap scammers call all night long.

Called at 10:23pm last night.   Answered and then hung up after I heard a man with an Indian accent

Called twice this evening, silence for about 15 seconds then "goodbye."  I have also gotten calls in the past week from a person with an "indian" accent stating something is wrong with my computer.  I hung up.

Third call this week.  Two from a Missouri number and one from a V number.  He said there is a problem with my computer.  It had been hacked and he is going to fix it.  Please go to my computer and follow everything he say's to do.  Hum.....scam...scam....SCAM!  He then told me he was able to see my computer and he can figure out who is on it.  At that I told him I do not have a home computer and he hung up.  Phone was dead!  

Called and reported the number (975) 964-2811 (who pretended to be from Microsoft Technical Support) to the FTC today. The FTC number is 1-877-FTC-HELP. The representative from the FTC was very helpful and took my information. She said it gets forwarded to investigators and law enforcement who investigate these reports. I highly recommend calling the FTC and filing a report.

Called three times when I didn't answer and called after I retired to bed

same here. Caller with a mid eastern accent stated that my pc downloaded a malware.
I told him to take my # off the list and stop calling me with this BS, he hung up

Called at 11:50 p.m. -- no message, hung up before the answering machine could pick up. Wow! I'm on the Do Not Call list, I guess that doesn't stop them from calling.

These people called about 8:30pm. (We didn't hear the phone so didn't answer, but wouldn't have answered anyway since we don't take calls from unidentified callers.)
THE BIG QUESTION IS:
HOW do these con-artists get people's unlisted numbers and harass them like this, and get away with it?
We're not only unlisted but on the Do Not Call List. Where is any protection from the government or the Phone company, from scammers like this?
We're beginning to suspect that they're getting our numbers from some company ONLINE that we do business with, which is really disgusting! Why can't companies like (for example--not necessarily ones we do business with) target, ebay, amazon, etc. etc. etc. PROTECT THEIR DATABASES ANY BETTER THAN THEY'RE DOING? *THEY* NEED TO BE CRACKED DOWN ON. They're putting us all at risk. We need a government more concerned with taking care of its REAL CITIZENS than it is concerned with the frivolous and oftentimes-outright-illegal cr*p they're doing! --And that goes for the Dept. of HHS, too!

Peeps from 975-964-2811 keep calling me.  Somebody should take care of them.  Calling them back at this number says the number has been changed.  If it's Uncle Sam playing Uncle, knock it off [***].

Indian dude called. I had him call me the king of England, then told him he was a cheeky c**t. Subsequently hung up

This number called me at 11:45 it scared me because my son is sick and I thought it was him calling for help. Please stop these calls.  When I saw the number I didn't answer it.

Was called @ 9pm. I answered but didn't say anything, after about 10 seconds a recorded female voice said "goodbye" and hung up. If it becomes a problem, my phone service allows me to block calls from certain numbers. Otherwise, next time they call I plan to be more annoying to them than they are to me.
