same bull"/$% call why cant we get these #'s blocked or the people at the other end stopped by the law wish we couled do something about it.we live in canada and the erea code of the # is from california if someone can help tell us what to do.

random call, no voicemail left

Hello just recieved a call from 979 -446 -0366.  I don't appreciate getting calls when no one is actually on line or is playing around, they must be doing something illegal as this is not normal. Read all blogs and feel it is identity thief of some sort as this gives information to the one calling and they must have some idea of checking as they have a phone number, it is hard to believe this goes on so much.  No one said I won anything but was apparent that number is phoned for some reason.  Phone busters would be interested in these type of calls.  I live in Ontario also. Time of call was 4:15 pm. Feb. 11/10

I just got a call from the same number and I'm in Winnipeg.  I didn't recognize the number so I left it.

Called me in Winnipeg too. 10 mins ago.  Didn't pick up and they left no message.

oooo i am so excited, my trip is to Cancun with 5 days in orlando..Someone has to stop this crap.

Just got a call from this number to my cell, it was suspicious as I didn't recognize the number.  I didn't pick up but no voice mail was left either.  Thanks for your comments so I know I didn't miss anything important :)

this number called me randomly on feb.11,2010 at 2:19pm its from texas and im in qc its randomly wierd hehe!

Received a call from this number too on my cell, which is a brand new number not even a month old, received a message though about a trip to Orlando, sounded like a voice machine left it

this number called my unlisted cell number in greater vancouver bc. I answer & started hearing a female recording about wining. I pressed end and flip my phone.

i got this call on my cell phone at 11:42 am on monday febuary 15th , i dident answer becuase it was a call from texis and im from toronto, after i thout it was justin bieber LMFAO !

Also got a message claiming to have won a 6 night vacation to mexico and also an Orlando vacation.  Asked me to press 1 to claim the prize - I hung up.  I've heard that an often used scam charges the recipient by having them press the number they ask, and that incurs a hefty charge to your account.

Just got a call from the same number. Its not the first time they call but I don't answer anymore and they don't leave messages. I'm from the Ottawa area and i'm with Rogers. Probably a big scam.

I am from Quebec and I also receive a call from this number 1-979-446-0366, I was on another ligne so I did not answer it. But I beleive from previous message that I should not call him back!

I have a contact in my phone called "Nuisance"; I added this number to the "Nuisance" contact so I don't waste time answering garbage calls.

Got a call from the same number. I wasn't home, but no message was left. I live in Winnipeg. This sounds very much like a scam to me.

I just received a call at work from these people. I am in Calgary.

Rogers cell phone-no message left

If your vmail message says; "You've reached YOUR-FULL-NAME, blah, blah, blah" thanks to sequential automated dialers, they now have your "unlisted" number and name, which is added to their database that is sold to marketing companies everywhere.

Do yourself a favor and just record a message that says; "You've reached YOUR-PHONE-NUMBER"
