Called while I was asleep. .I hit auto answer thay I Was in cinema& checked later when I got up.No mssge left.It was om my cell so wondered how they got this.It was from Louisiana

Have received several calls from this number.  I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  I don't know anybody in Louisiana, so I have blocked the number.

Got 2 calls in a ROW from this number & NOTHING WAS SAID. Wasted my damned units on my cell fone.  So angry.

I too received call from this number this morning at 11:17am PST and I declined it and immediately the phone rang again.  The source on the phone was Covington, LA, as others have posted. No message was left either time.

this number has called and they say nothing we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!!!!  

Received call at 11.30 a.m., 12/30/13. She asked to speak to Steve 'X'. X is our last name, but there isn't any Steve in our family.

I told her there's no such person living here, she said, okay,, thank you then disconnected the call.

Caller ID name reads the same as their phone number.

I enrolled in the Do Not Call Registry...since, we're getting more spam calls than ever. I'm starting to think, the Do Not Call list invites unwanted callers

Filed a complaint today - I am starting to take the time to do this for all unknown #s that call more than once. I'm guessing if enough people did this then there would be fewer calls. Blocking only works for so many days - file the complaint.

Called here at 4:30 est. Didn't pick up and when they got the machine hung up with out a message.

Called the number back and got a recording identifying the company as a professional fund raiser. I took the option to have my number removed for future calls. I hope that it works.

Just got a call. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. They didn't leave a message. Reverse search says it's from Covington, LA. Some people on here say it's a fundraising company. I'm sorry, but there are too many telephone and U.S. Mail fundraising scams today, especially in the name of politics. Forget it; if I don't know the reputation of a non-profit, I won't give to it. I especially don't give money at traffic stops, either.

Similar to the others here.  Called and hung up after 3 rings.  No identification on the CallerID.

Thanks for the tip. This lady calls today from that #, apparently did not hear the beep of my machine, keeps saying...hello..hello, gets annoyed and hangs up. So I changed my greeting to start as: If your calling for money or this is a sales call of any type, hang up now as this # is on the do not call list. So, If they call again I will report them.

Did not leave message; I'm on the national Do-Not-Call list, which they are ignoring.

Got a call from this # at 12:42 p.m. No message was left and we do not know anyone in this area code location.

Call hang up at 1105 AM PST.  For those of you upset that you are on the DNC list and they call.  Hellllooo --- you are blonde?  Crooks do not abide by laws.  One of the med alert scam that we got calls from nonstop the past two years has finally been caught and is shut down.  However, there are a couple of copy cats of that scam.  If these jerks change the number every month, it is difficult to track them.  if you do not report every call you get, then they can now narrow in on them.  Showing anger because the "system" does not work is just plain silly.  When have crooks and thieves abided by any system?  Oh, forgot -- common sense.  So gone here.  Report them and let elderly and infirm know to never answer the phone or interact with these perverts.  That is their target, not the ones like you who scream and yell like spoiled brats.  They love that, makes their day.  They make the bucks by number of calls they interact with remember.  Oh, you didn't know that either?  Elections over, holidays here, scam time.  Do not let these bad people ruin your month of legally spending money.  Oh, and one more thing:  You pick up or call them they know you are a legitimate phone number -- and sell your number to other crooks.  Damn that common sense is annoying to loose, isn't it?  Report report report.

I always look up unknown numbers on the web to see if they are from a legitimate company or person I need to reply to.  If they are not legitimate, I block their number.  If they aren't legitimate, there are a lot of comments like the ones here.
