- NOTANIDIOTSome "airhole" with a foreign accent called MY phone from this number, telling me he was "JIMMY" from MICROSOFT! I said, YEAH... WHAT DO YOU WANT? He mumbled something about "MY" computer problem. I couldn't understand him & he just hung up!

But now that I know who is ringing me and why they are ringing me I shall be answering. Look forward to hearing what [***] they are going to spin to me. Usually I put my three year old on to talk to them. He loves it. Looking forward to recieving there call. Fun FUN!!!

- AnneI also got a call from an Indian man saying I had a virus on my PC -what alerted me was the phone no. that showed up as overseas and yet when I asked where he was calling from he said Sydney ! He never admitted-even after I asked which company he was calling from but rather- tried to get me to verify my home address and PC ID!
I'm usually pretty naive but this guy was just rude which luckily got my back up-I told him it sounded like a hoax & I wanted nothing to do with it and hung up !!!
Interestingly- he didn't ring back !!!- Caller: unknown

- MikeThe India guy clearly said he was from Microsoft and there was some 'backend virus spreading from my computer'. When I said 'So you are from Microsoft', he said 'No, I am a certified Microsoft Technician' which means nothing. I told I had a Macintosh and that he was full of [***] and scamming me, and expected to be hung up on. He replied 'I am full of [***] and you will be scammed' implying that the Windows viruses on my Macintosh were going to get me. I told him Karma is going to get him and hung up.

- GRAHAM FRYER9999100102 CALLED 3 TIMES ON TUESDAY 12 JUNE 2012 WHO ARE THEY?
- BOBHad 3 phone calls today from this number. Fortunately I pay £2.50 per month for Sky ID which shows up their phone number as 9999100102 and I've never answered it. Thanks to this site I know that these people are scammers, I might answer one day if I'm not too busy and either play dumb like "What's the mouse", "what's the keyboard", "I can't remember how to turn the computer on" lol or I might give them fake credit card details just to piss them off. The porn thing was funny, I might put some lesbian porn on, turn the volume up loud and tell him I'm a little busy right now LOL

- BDC Guru replies to MoobyYes. I got a call from this number. Man with a heavy foreign (missle eastern) accent kept calljnig for money to support a young girl living with him that I got pregnant!! I am old and had a vasectomy 40 years ago. LOL. THis guy kept calling and harrassing me.
- almerI got a call from a guy with a heavy hindu accent claiming he was a Microsoft technician and he wanted to help me to get rid of some viruses that MS has detected in my computer. I asked: how do you know that I have viruses? His answer: " You just send us a problem report and we detected it" Well Few minutes earlier MSWORD failed and I did send the report. At this point I begun to believe he was from
Microsoft. I asked; How do I know you are from Microsoft? I can tell you your computer ID. I said go ahead and give it to me. At this moment I checked my computer ID and he was right! He knew it. I said:" Well, let us go ahead and get rid of those viruses. He said: " Thank you sir for cooperating with Microsoft. Open the Internet explorer and type www. ammyy.com" I did it. He said: " Please download the program and execute it". I asked : "why should I do that?" Because I need to control your computer to be able to get rid of the viruses". He said. At this point I realized this was a hindu scam. They have some of the most sophisticated scams, only rival by the nigerians. I said: " I need to check the results of some tests. Why don't you give me your name and phone number and I' ll give you a call in one hour.
This is very scary!!! He new about the problem report I sent to MS and he knew my computer ID which is attached automatically to the report. This tells me that guys working for microsoft in India pass the information to the scammers and they call you within the hour to make it look authentic. I think MS made a big mistake moving tech support to India. They don't solve any problems, is very difficult to understand them, it is unsafe, even when they are legitemate.
The number in the caller ID is: 1-999-910-0102.
The number to call him back: 231 216 2291. Name: Vikter - ThankfulI am thankful for these pages to go to when I see a strange phone number..Thanks for all your feedback on this number..
- AZMomI just got the same call from the same number, heavy accent middle Easterner telling me he was with Microsoft and that I had downloaded a virus onto my PC, that it was going to crash my PC and also infect PCs all over the country if I did not cooperate with them in cleaning it right away, that they (Microsoft) were calling all their customer telling them this. I knew immediately it was a scam. I don't use a Windows based program on my PC. Also, I have tried to call the customer service areas of Microsoft in the past. The wait times are quite long when you call them... I have never heard of and do not believe they would ever call out to their subscribers (even if I still was one of them). They send EMs since they are an Internet company. Duh. Basically told the guy all this and hung up. Wish I could block the number. I hate that there are scavengers out there preying on naive and trusting people! Shame on them!
