my mom got a call from this person a couple of time the day befor and she didn't pick up and then tonight they called and she said hello a couple of times and then a Indian man was saying that our computer was having problems and it wasnt! at all !!! then he insisted apon arguing and then my. mom said good by. he called back a couple of times and the left a message and he was like " hello hi hello hello " and man this dude will not be quiet

It is a fake company to scam. they will take over control of your computer and load with viruses & such to steal your personal info.

Get multiple calls from this number. Also same as 234-567-890 and also 91797. Never leave a message. Always some Indian guy answers if you pick up quick enough. Scam to try and break into your computer and steal info......Been calling 3 to 4 times a day for the past 3 weeks. As it is my cell phone they are calling I am unable to block them....

11/25/2011 7:70 pm Alaska A man with an Indian accent told me I had an error message on my computer...When I asked where he was calling me from  he said, "Florida." Smells like a SCAM to me. I told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Interesting, that I was getting text messages from a computer software store for 3 days in a row prior on my cell phone. He called me on my house phone.

This number rings two or three times a day, and we too had an abusive message left on our machine in an Indian accent. It has already rang twice today, answered it the first time to get an earful of dodgy music. Pretty sick of it now.

Got a call from that same number twice. Was a lady, sounded like she was from India, kept saying something is wrong with my computer..I hung up. Called back about 30 minutes later, sounded like she was in a call center...I said don't call here again and she hung up...

lady with strong accent called 5th Dec 2011 saying she was from Microsoft investigation dept and my computer had a corrupted file and she wanted to discuss the matter further when I questioned her further became aggrssive I asked her whether she had seen an article in National Press about bogus "Microsoft" who claim that computer could catch fire she got quite stroppy and aggressive I put phone down,

Getting calls from this number almost every day. Sometimes as early as 6am and as late as 11pm. They are using the windows operating system report of malicious software scam. I have tried not answering, tried telling them to remove my number, tried sayng I would report them and had my husband tell them off. Nothing has worked. They won't give out any info on company name and won't answer questions.

Continues to call. No one answers. Got another call recently, did not see the #, telling me I have a computer problem. indian accent.

I also just got a call from this number 999-910-0119.  They are claiming to be "it Tech" something or other, with a strong indian accent.  and that my computer is sending out tons of virus the last few days and i need service.  For one i have my computers off most of the day except when i get home.  I asked which computer as i have more than one.  They said the one running windows vista xp.?? Should be either vista or xp there is no combined vista xp operating system.  none of my pcs run xp or vista.  i only run windows 7.  Not to mention this call was at 9pm at night!!.  Got them aggravated and they hung up on me telling me to goto sleep then.

Btw.  i have antivirus running and i run malwarebytes every month. If anything my internet service provider will tell me if my system is infected and is acting like a  spam server.  Not some unknow person at an unknow company that i did signup for.  And i am THE IT tech as my job.

just got the same call on my cell, but i knew 9999100119 was not a united states number. i didnt answer it.

they called on my cell phone and i was smart enough not to answer. My cell has caller ID and that 9999 number was the one

Getting the same message first three times just hung up on them after telling them I had no problem. last time i went a bit further along to see what they are trying to get you to do. The caller says they your computer has a problem and they need to fix it for you. They also try to prove that they are real by giving a very long (and incorrect) windows registration number. they then tell you to go to the old DOS command prompt window to try and get you to run something. At this point I told him he was a fake and I would not let anyone tell me to run something unknown from the command window. He seemed to get a little upset about this however the calls seem to have stopped.

As you said this number is a scammer trying to get you to run malicious code on your computer, don't do it.

I got a call at 9:00 at night from this number. I didn't recognize the area code but I answered it anyway. It was an Indian guy telling me there was a problem with my computer. And he kept going on and on so I just hung up. Then I looked up the number and found this site and read all the posts. I'll really be annoyed if he calls back. Isn't there some way someone can trace the number?

Just got a call from this number an a foreign indian speaking woman said our computer was corrupted, i immediately wanted to speak to her supervisor and wanted a call back number she said I just needed to talk to her, in arabic I told her a few choice words of what i thought of her organization and she hung up. Learn arabic. it works.
