- 3Just had a call off this number, identical blurb to a call from a different number that I received yesterday about being from the Telephone Refund Department, supposedly from British Telecom and as I had been overpaying they wanted to refund me £202. They knew my name but also wanted me to verify...
- 1Received a call this afternoon from the above number. Strong foreign accent & I couldn't understand what company he said he was from, but was based in the UK ? Turned our I had £80,000.00 worth in bit coins in an account I didn't know I had. When I scoffed at this, he hung up !
- 1Recorded female voice saying "This number will be de-activated in 2 hours. If you want to know the reason, press 1 for English or 2 for Chinese".
- 1This number called pretending to be HMRC. When I refused to answer personal information questions and said I was suspicious, they hung up.
- 1Standard call of no one on the other end then "Goodbye". I expect to get a number of scam calls hitting my phone over the next few days.
- 1Called themselves Royal Mail Express in an oriental accent then lapsed into unintelligible chinglish then silence.
- 1This call today, to my mobile, was supposedly from Visa. It was a recorded message telling me that my account had been charged with a large Amazon transaction (£900 ish), and to press 1 to talk to visa customer services. I don't even have a Visa account. Obvious scam
