- JamesI just got a call from this same number and googled it and ended up here. I answered it and it hung up immediately! WEIRD!!!
- Rachel - AdelaideI've had so many calls from this number, with a guy on the other end saying he's from Telstra..... I just hang up now when i see that number without answering it. With all of everyone's comments on this site, it's actually freaking me out!

haha i must admit i do find it bit funny that there is a website about this though, this is the first time i've ever googled a number! - JamesHi all again! I have some light to shed on our fav little phone number. I had a call this morning again from 0894244700 so i answered hoping to find some answers for everyone and I did. The person on the other end started out by saying they were from Telstra yet only happened to have half my details and new very little about my phone services. So I questioned him again on weather he was really from Telstra or a sub contractor or a general call centre and he then say oh I work for a company called TSA who he claims are Telstra biggest sub contractor who Telstra pay to do plan review and updates for. I then made him aware of all of us getting very annoyed by repetitive calls from the number and asked if that could be passed on to management. Their call centre is in Brissy and the calls originate from a computer in Perth and is programed if you don't answer or hang up on them that it calls you back a couple of hours later. SO basically they arent telstra just some group that may do a bit of work for them but I think if they really do work for Telstra then they would have current and accurate details, especially in terms of your Telstra account. Good Luck everyone else. Im considering talking to telstra and making an official complaint about this company and their claimed association with telstra. Cheers Guys

- adelei've gotten a few calls from this number but have always missed it... as well as calls from a qld number which hangs up after 5 seconds. someone suggested on another page that it could be from apply for jobs online which i have been, ie putting up false ads. has anyone else noticed this at all?

- DaveI re dial the number from a land line when i get a missed call on my mobile. All i get is a busy signal
- maddithey called me at 11:37am and i missed it. then at 12:45 and then at 6:56 and i missed it again... they are gonna keep calling because they have done it befaore and it was telsra.... i feel like saying IM AT SKOOL STOP CALLING ME... im in class and i feel my phone vibrating and im just like GRRRRR

so call back it just cut;s of,,, - PaulIve had this number call me at all times of the day. I answered it the first couple of times and found nobody on the other end. It left a message on my message bank not long ago and said that i had won a prize in something but when i tried to ring back i only got the sound of an internet connection or something like that.
- kalkihey guys , just letting you all know about what this is just so this is not misleading. this is actually a company called TSA. it is a proactive marketing company working to sell existing telstra products to customers. however above us pcp do winbacks and work through other providers, we change line rental, provision broadband, change most stuff. and add other products. I know this cause i work for them and have for quite some time now. if you have any questions i'll be on this forum for a lil bit.
kalki - Davidkeep getting these calls. how can you make it stop? i dont answer them anymore, it is just annoying.
- kalkiwell maybe you should just pick up the phone, and then you can get it out of the way for another 3-6 months.
kalki - ryits true, once you pick up and get the savings out of the way then they stop calling because automatically the dialer picks up the time you've spoken and calculates wether a customer has been looked after or not.
and really does it hurt to save a good 20 bucks form your mobile by being right planned for your current needs, on your home-phone by being updated on what's new in regards to plans and on your internet when your on dial up paying 33.95 when you could be paying 29.95 or even 19.95 for adsl?

ry - Candice2 minutes taken out of your time and you shall see that these guys are only wanting to help :o) I am not only a tsa call centre sweat shop worker - I am a true customer service orientated representative of TSA (on behalf of Telstra) and we only want to save you some money, give you a few 'mad' deals and add a little meaning to your Telstra experience where in the past this may have been unfortauntely overlooked. Telstra and TSA rocks.

I'll give you all a hint, if you dont want what we have.......say no. Difficult isnt it. We get your numbers direct from telstra and you can either be with us other than that your own phone company gives it to telstra But in all honesty if some of you people have that kind of attitude i really dont want to talk to you anyway let alone save you money every month so have fun paying telstra all your money. AND JAMES GET A LIFE DUDE, YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO TALK YET YOU HAVE TIME TO MAKE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT, once again pathetic

- mad doghad a missed call, then checked up on here and they rang again so i answered to see what it was about - he was kent from the telstra 'loyalty centre'.he was apparently going to save me money but needed to 'check' my i.d. - he wanted my licence number n expiry date as well as some bank card numbers. not sure if its legit or not, so i wasn't going to give out any details over the phone.
