This number belongs to the system called "Skype". Look up www.skype.com to learn more about it. It's basically communication from computer to telephone. I just researched it and learned this.

the person who posted in french basically said that she called, spent an hour on the phone trying to figure this out, and sometimes when you make an account change [like changing your credit card number or switching services], this line will automatically call you up to verify something. although i'm what the person above me posted regarding skype - any further info you can give us on that?
those of you losing minutes, call up and complain already!

This number has called me 14 times in the past 7 days. There is no answer when I pick up, no message left and no one answers when I call back.

I called them and told them this number is calling me...They said it has to do with soliciting. They put a note on my account and true to rogers idiotic customer service and lack of a stable CRM I got the call again (and again today).
The ceo of that company has zero understanding of customer service.

I've also gotten this call, I'm pretty sure its rogers because I recently called to have cable installed and they call from this number sometimes. Other times theres just no one there.

This is rogers calling you. I picked up the phone they said I was out of a contract and since i've been a customer for 5 years they were going to give me a bunch of free stuff. I suggest you pick this up they are just offering you free stuff when you commit to a new plan 2 or 3 years. I regret not picking this up sooner as they've been calling for months and I could of saved a lot of money. I received 50 more min a month Caller ID/Voicemail/Contact Backup and unlimited incoming calls and more for free. All I had to do was agree to a 2 year plan. Not like I was going to switch to crappy bell so it was a bunch of saving for nothing.

omg...this is such a bother..rogers sucks balls like this...what is wrong with them? are they idiotic. I mean they are bad enough to have really confusing bills and everything and bad plans and restrictions. Not to mention the phones they sell sucks too. I cant believe that they can think of such a stupid way of giving customer service. Is there a way to get rid of their annoying phone calls?

ok, this will blow your minds, I too have been recieving the calls from both numbers,4166452105 and 8664179498 however, I am with BELL, they call sometimes as many as 7 times a day never leaving a message

This number calls me also and it is a Rogers call centre. I called Rogers and asked them to credit me for the calls they made, which they did, and also requested that they stop calling. That will be seen I guess..... But they said that I should get no more calls.

I get about 3 calls/day from this number. Ive had other numbers call before this and it is all from Rogers. this must be them again.
i called the number because they have also been harassing me and i got to talk to a rogers representative... they told me that they have a machine that automatically calls when you have a payment due and it will call you like 10000 times! anyways i told the guy that my payments weren't past due and he said he knows but the machine doesn't detect it and so when you have a balance it will call you. IT IS REALLY ANNOYING...but i got him to make it stop! it was 8:52am so i'm assuming they might have business hours...because i've called before with no answer.

This telephone number belongs to ROGERS WIRELESS telephone service. It is one of the many ignorant and deceptive ways that Rogers uses to call their own customers and bother them about useless ad campaigns that you have declined a gazillion times before. I have found Rogers to be highly deceptive and untruthful with respect to it's marketing strategies - they tell you 1/2 of the story. I can't wait until my contract is up.
