- alison| 2 repliesi am getting really pissed off with these packies keep ringing me up, i wish they would just go back to there own country then there would be more jobs for the real british people.
- ruby T. replies to alison| 1 replyThey are in their own country Alison.
Blaming one race of people for lack of jobs here is very short sighted and bigoted even if they were phoning from u.k.
The 00--- calls should be ignored. Just a shame they reach vunerable people You would think in this day and age something could be done about these scams - Nan replies to ruby T.Whilst you are right in most of what you say, it is an unfortunate fact that most of the scam calls we receive originste in the Sub Continent. This does tend to get everyone tarred with the same brush. It also means that the UK cannot do anything to stop the calls.
- Linda in Jersey replies to AJ| 1 replyAJ.
This number (00000000) called me recently. I did have a call last week asking me about my credit card interest rate being lowered and I had spoken with a human, eventually, and told them to take me off their calling list and then I get this call this week. And here you posted back in 2008 that this is who was calling me.
I guess these people can take any phone number they can. Even if it is only 8 digits. - Linda in Jersey replies to Linda in JerseyPS. I do not answer calls I do not recognize. And this certainly was one of them. Of course, no message left.
- AnnoyedHave been receiving calls from this number, 0000000000. Whenever I see this number I just dont answer the call or any other number I recognize as a telemarketer. One day I was just relaxing doing nothing and I got a call from this number again, so I answered it and pretended I couldn't hear very well and kept asking the person to repeat himself. I would flush the toilet, cough, just make any noise I could and kept asking him to repeat himself. After two minutes on the phone he hung up. So far no calls from that number yet. But I ready for them.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- globetrotterThanks to my caller display I can identify whether it's a local British call or not. If you get a number like this 00000000 don't pick the phone up as it could cost you a fortune. This is obviously a PIRATE call - so please ignore it. If you haven't got a caller display unit - get one and contact your phone provider to get it set up on your system. It costs around 1.49 pence a month or quarter in some cases. I received this call yesterday Wednesday 5th October 2012 at 16:39 hours. I see from other comments that this number has been around for quite a few years doing its rounds !!! Just be AWARE !!!
