I was called from this number today.

Very brief but strange! Very long pause at the start with me asking if anyone was there until a lady asked to speak to a woman I live with. I told them she was not here at the moment, and before I could ask if they wanted to leave a message, they hung up!

As I have been typing this message, they called again (10 minutes after the first call) but this time said nothing and just hung up!

I had this one, just recently. The guy told me that he is from some university offering for MBA program.

But he is actually knew my name, I haven't had a chance to ask where did he know my name.

Actually, the number is 00000000850. Could it be the same spam / prank phone? Where this caller come from? From which country? Does anyone know?

Got called from this number on Sunday. SUNDAY. There was someone at the other end this time. Since I'd been out watching football and drinking I was in the mood to give them some crap. Asked why the **** he was calling me on a Sunday, had a rant and told them they were scamming [***], then told him to go **** himself. It was at that point he hung up. They're becoming quite tiresome now.

had this just now, 000000000 called me and i dont answer phone numbers i do not recognise so i let the machine get it. they hung up.

They ring 3 times a day most days and they dont leave a message so I know it can't be anything important. Very fed up now with timewasters.

I'm getting theses calls every day and night, but as it's 00000000 I'm not answering, I have never this number before and they never leave a message on my answer  machine. i just wish they stop phoning.

A man phoned saying he was from the computer maintenance department...when asked of what company he just kept repeating computer maintenance department, he asked me to turn on the computer, when I kept questioning who he was he hung up! Weird.

Just got the same number, said it was a credit monitoring and can help get lower interest rates and higher credit ratings, told them hell no..They've been calling me twice a day for a week now

Had numerous calls from 000000000 number over the past couple of months,last time was today at 4-30pm very annoying.Indian guy wanting access to my computer due to unkown virus? told him to get lost then he hung up.

i dont have an credit card that needs to be lowered

If you do not have a phone system that allows automated routing of incoming calls by name, number, CID and better yet wildcard then I would suggest that the only way you will get these cretins to stop is to inflict a little pain. What I used to do prior to getting my current phone system which has great routing capabilities, is answer these calls that have unfamiliar CIDs begin a dialog and it it turns out to be a DNC violator, I interrupt the caller and ask them to hold while I answer the door. I let the caller waste their own time instead of mine.  A few minutes later, I check the phone and if they have hungup, then I hangup. A little pain goes a long way when you are dealing with these maladroits.

Now I have fun with them routing their calls all over the place. When a call comes in from one of my "Blacklisted" CIDs my phone does not even ring. It follows the script I set up for that CID and sends the jerks off to a recorded message somewhere of my chosing.

Based on my phone logs I can see that this 00000000 number  continues to call several times daily even though I am currently routing them to a SIP URI that gives them the correct time. If one of their supervisors listens in to monitor their work they will not be happy when they hear their employee calling to get the correct time, or get stock quotes or wherever I choose to send them.

I don't get mad, I get even... and then some.

same here this number keeps ringing me and hanging up when i answer i have now blocked this number so hopefuly no more prank calls. im fed up with them its constant day and daily

Received the first call last night from 000000000 the line just crackled and no one spoke, hope it does not continue as per previous posts

Just got a call off this number +00000000 I didn't answer I'm glad I never tbh, what is this world coming to!

Got a call 01/30/12 2:10 pm.................What are we accomplishing with these postings. The phone companies need to crack down on all of these callers. This is just one of many received each day.

Got a call from number 00. Only two numbers.  Usual thing.  Has anyone had an accident in the last three years.

Got a call from this number, but didn't answer it as thought it was dodgy!  Never seen this number before and neither have people who I work with.

Got called today, chinese girl said she was from Microsoft and it was regards downloaded programs on my computer.My reply p*** off. Hope she understands English
