- robfletch replies to nospamcallsIt's Dave from India which is in any city of the U.S. You won a 20 dollar gift card from Walmart. All you have to do is provide him with your debit card number so you can pay the $2.95 shipping and handling fee. If you dont they will call a dozen times a day.

- BSi got a call from 0000000000. it was a man who said his name was "Casper" i laughed at him and would keep asking HIM question. He said he was with a cruse line, but sounded like curse lie because of his accent. So i just asked him "what is a curse lie?" "why do i want to be apart of a curse lie?" I say just have fun with it, flip the script on them and pretend you called them to sell them sex toys or something. You can see the number on the phone so you'll know its them calling you...Or just dont answer.

- JohnP| 1 replyI have started getting calls from +000000000000 at least one a day but i have never been able to speak to anyone
Has anyone come up with an answer how to stop them- Caller: +000000000000
- Henry Wood replies to JohnPJohn, about any ideas how to stop these calls - a couple of months ago I purchased a CPR Call Blocker and it has solved my problems. I'm disabled and was not always near the phone when it rang. These calls and others from "withheld", "out of area", and one of the very worst "002034754049" have all been stopped in their tracks by this machine. It holds a blacklist of the worst sales call numbers and blocks these. It also automatically blocks the others I've mentioned. Calls from genuine number get through but if it is an unsolicited sales call, there is a button on top of the machine to block future calls from that number. I know the machine works because every night when I put my phone into its charger there is a list of calls "missed" showing on caller display. These are numbers which have called me but the CallBlocker has intercepted them and my phone has not rung with any of them.
What annoys me about it all is the machine costs some money. I'm not blaming the manufacturers but if an independent company can enable blocking such numbers surely our telephone service providers can also do it? I have come to the conclusion that phone service providers do not want to help their customers in blocking the unsolicited numbers. Unfortunately the paid for CallBlocker is the only way I have found to get some peace and quiet from these pests. (And I'm happy that they have had to pay for the call though my phone has not rung to annoy me.) - the monkAsian man phone a few minutes ago! Wife answered the 'phone but was very cautious and di not give any info away. Caller said we were entitled to a £40 refund on our BT 'phone. Wife told him we were not with BT and caller said that we paid a line rental to BT (which was not true) he then asked how we paid, monthly or quarterly wife told him she did not know as her husband dealt with these things! Is your husband available? he asked. No my wife said and then caller rung off!
Sounds like a scam!!!!- Caller: Unknown

- stefgot this call on uk landline registered with TPS from "000000000" claiming to from "uk claims network" asking if I had an accident recently and offering £4000 compensation even before I gave any details of an accident. Googled "uk claims network" while talking and it does not exist. Asked why the number was "000000000" and was told that it was an internet call and refused to give details of what company he was calling from. Could have been anywhere in the world but with no noticeable delay on the call was probably from the UK or Europe. Obviously a scam. Beware and do not give any personal details to these parasites.
