I received a call from this nominated and displayed number. 7 January 2016.  I thought it was "odd" and therefore suspicious and didn't answer.

I agreed once to pursue more information about schools through an online source. ( source unknown, seemed legitimate) started getting calls. Answered once, a foreign man redirected me call back to America and to a local school. Awesome, except they have been calling 3 times a day for the past 5 days. The second day I asked to be removed from the call list. Today I told the woman on the other end that my name is pronounced Blake not Black, I repeatedly requested to be taken off the list and I asked to speak to a supervisor. She immediately hung up. Will update to see if being a dick about it worked.

But for real, if the punk don't understand the English phrase "take me off your call list) then they shouldn't be calling me in the damn first place. Is this monitored or regulated at all? How can I (we) stop this

    Update replies to Black
Being rude is still not working, anytime I irritatedly ask for a manager they hang up immidiatly. Most recently I tried to seem extremely greatful for them calling and asked to speak to supervisor. I was told I was speaking to the supervisor. I them asked why I was not yet removed from the call list. He then said, "this is actually my first call." I'm out of ideas

There is no hope. I spoke with a Russell Wilson today. He said there was a supervisor but he could only leave a message. I asked to be removed. He would not. My wife suggested that she answer, and tell them they have the wrong number. Will update when the successfulness of this method has been determined. Final bit of info, the company name is University Source. Avoid at all costs.

This is Probe Group. A debt collection agency. Very dubious in the way they conduct business. Off-shore phone lines in Phillipines.

Wow I couldn't even understand the guy. Even when I asked him to repeat himself, he got angry and started to ramble about something.. Would have been nice if he spoke slower and clearer because I hung up. Clearly a scam.

I just received a call from this number and the caller said that they were calling from Microsoft because of some problem with my PC Windows application.  They wanted me to log on to my PC so they could help me correct the problem.  I told them there was nothing wrong with my PC,  he then told me that if I didn't trust him he could give me some kind of verification code.  I told him I didn't trust him,  because my caller id didn't identify the call was coming from Microsoft, that's when he said he was calling from a satellite location. He got angry and told me to hang up then if I didn't believe him and I hung up.

Used this proxy Many times, legitimate or not my uses had a purpose. It's an internet call through a program that uses several proxy to hide each digit as a zero. Usually re routing throughout the world. It is untraceable, furthermore for what I used it for I'd refrain from.answering calls on.your smart phone while on your home wifi. Regardless if you use a call program or company service. BELIEVE ME IN 60seconds of call time I.could be looking though both your phones cameras and looking through your files on phone ...sms, email, google/apple id, and from there is only gets more mallicious.
